Quote : "Nothing endures, not a tree, not a love, not even a death by violence."

Not even a true friendship shall last
Bad thing will and has happen in the future and past
When that sad day came...Finny went away And on that day...
No one shed a tear, But everyone had a fear...
Nothing was the same... We all knew Gene was to blame...
Not only Gene, but the evil within our hearts Our evil help drive those boys apart...
Finny was not the only thing that was lost that year...
The boys innocent had disappear... Not knowing what was in plan..
for them...they face the war like a man... The death of Finny was needed to let them grow...
The boys went with the flow... Some died some lived on...
Those they lived on...came back were like new borns...
Gene knew no innocent...he lost everything on Devon campus....his hate...his friends...his enemy...
He knew he had to go on with his life... He knew he had to come back one last time to face his fear And to drop one final tear...

Symbolism
The top of the page represents the author’s dedication to his work. Because of his great piece of art we are able to get a deeper meaning of evil in the world and how friendship can be ruin through competition. He shows us that all evil come from within ourselves. The picture with the quote symbolizes the “famous,” or so-called most famous quote of the novel. It means that he, Gene, changed throughout the years but Devon stayed the same. The pictures of the boys on the marble steps represent the place where Finny made his last fall and it caused him to die. The picture of the school represents the microcosm of the novel. It shows that the school is just a small model of the real thing. The main problem is the intrusion of the war, the intrusion of the war on Devon and the boys at Devon. The song represents Finny and Gene’s friendship. It’s one that will never be forgotten or unwanted. The football and basketball that is dropping from the top to the bottom of the page represent the athletic academic of Devon and the boys. Last but not least at the bottom of the page is the links that can help you find more information on the novel and its author.
