Race Report #2

Pre Season Race at Brands Hatch

The Porsches qualified extremely well for the race, but only two would finish, one of them in last place. This was through no fault of their own, but of Rickard Rydell for Yvan Muller, and a push from Will Hoy into Cleland into Soper, who rolled his car in the paddock hill gravel trap. Biela Dominated the race, but was strongly challenged all through by John Cleland in the Porsche. Tim Harvey caused the retirement of two people on the pit straight, after hitting Rydell, who hit Neal. Rydell came back across into Kelvin Burt and span him round. Paul Radisich ran out of space and a 'slam bang wallop' followed. Thompson in the other Porsche would come last when the Jaguars spun him on the last lap exiting druids. All in all, a mouth-waterer for the season races next week.
