All right. Some of the girls in Ians class were caught oogling a smutty magazine [although from the cover, it looked more humorous than offensive]. After a short interrogation, they admit that Ian McGregor gave it to them in order to counter the senator's conservative claptrap. ^_^
Of course, since this is a church as well as a high school, Ian is in a heap of trouble.

The mother superior meets him in the swimming pool [quite by accident], where he expresses sympathy for the recent death of her father. Thus ensues an emotional little scene. She is more saddened by that there is no 'home' to return to: that she only has the church.

Next day-- West Side Story. Ian has apparently invited her to the theatre. She discovers that he has kiddies, and is a divorced father.

<One of the sisters attempts suicide because of the rapid changes occuring in the church. Ian exemplifies these changes, with his little motor bike and open criticism of the church's big wigs>

After much deliberation, the Mother Superior decides that Ian must go. He submits his resignation, while she attempts to pen his reference [which will be a good one, once she finds the words].
