Soon inside the South Entrance to Yellowstone National Park, in the second week
of June, we found snow left from the winter. Snowballs were in order. Then on to
our cabin at Old Faithful Lodge. The next morning, we enjoyed a bus tour of the
Lower Loop. The next two days found us sightseeing and hiking in the park. We
were thrilled with a two-inch wet snowfall one morning. Evenings were spent
enjoying the music and conversations in the 100 year old Old Faithful Inn with a
fire in the huge fireplace.
