Who am i anyway? Well, my name is jOEY and i live in Assen for some time now. 5 years to be exact. Before Assen i lived in a city called Leiden. It was a big city with alot of crime and stuff. We moved to Assen for some peace and quiet. My dad still works in Leiden though. He has his own company there.
I follow the HAVO education, its a high-school course. After finishing the HAVO,
i want to do something with Business IT. I'll be working at company's, creating
and maintaining networks and programming proggies and stuff. It's quite boring,
but it's what i want.
I listen to the darkest metal there is: Dimmu Borgir. I like six feet under
too! I have all the albums from KoRn, got an album of A Perfect Circle, i like
TooL, got some of Prodigy, and some ThunderDome Hardcore. I used to be a 'gabber'
y'know... now i've 'evolved' to heavy-dark-black-metal-fan :) Oh yes, MuDvAyNe
kicks ass to, man! They really do... Prod is one of the most beautifull songs
i ever heard!
I like spending time on the PC and other technical things like TV and Playstation
or Xbox. Most of the time i play games, but i tweak my PC alot. I have an AMD
XP (Palmino <-- server CPU) 2000+ (@ 1650 Mhz) CPU, 256 DDR 290 Mhz EEC-RAM,
Geforce 4 Ti 4400 @ 4600 (core @ 320 Mhz, mem @ 640 Mhz), HP 1024 Low Emission
16'' (yes...) Monitor, 4.8 gb (?!) 5400 RPM HDD (y'know, a smaller HD is faster
and easier to maintain), Compaq Ergo Keyboard, Logitech 200 FPS Mouse, 4x 40
Watt RMS (!! NOT PMPO !!) soundBLASTERZ!! + 2x dumb assed small stereo speakers,
SoundBlaster Live 5.1 Digital Soundcard, 100 Mbps LAN Card, and no freakin'
internet connection!!!
I play alot of Warcraft 3, Diablo 2, Ghost Recon, Final
Fantasy, Quake 3, NO COUNTERSTRIKE! CS SUCKS BIG TIME!!, Nox and a whole lot
of RTS, RPG, 3d FPS shooters and more. Furthermore is go out with friends to
pubs, and drink an ale at their home from time to time (every weekend)
I am intrigued by everythings that has something to do with Ancienity (is that
a word?). I love history, when i see a programme about (Ancient) history i get
all excited! It's so fascinating! For example take the Germans (the old ones)
and the Roman Empire, and the Vikings! It's all so thrilling and interesting!
I study rune pictures and stuff, and try to learn as much as i can about my
past... the past of Holland... the past of my Ancient ancestors. I'm addicted
to Ancient Viking Lore: Thor, Odin and the rest of those Nordic gods inspire
me extremely. I really think we should NEVER forget whom where our ancestors,
and we should NEVER forget ancient cultures! They're just TO precious, y'know?
As a matter of fact, i am proud to be dutch, and it's stupid and rediculous
that no one is allowed to be proud of their heritage and culture anymore, EXCEPT
if you are non-white! Because if you are white and proud of your heritage, according
to most people, you're a Nazi, a facsist, an intolerant agressor on a warpath
to kill all non white's! Bull***t! I am very tolerant, except for people who
think that way! People who say things they don't even mean, just because other
people say it! They think they are acting well if they forget about their own
people and let them to rot, and 'positively discriminate'
foreigners so that everyone sees 'how good they are'!!! Man stuff like that
make's me go wild! I'll just stop thinking about it, for now...
