More Images from Gamespot:

Firstly, these pictures are genuine. They are from the live Gamespot E3 one-time show on the 22nd of May. I would've gotten more, but for some reason a lot of the screen shots I took just turned out to be totally black when I pasted them, but the ones I got are fairly well and I'll try to explain them well, but....

Listen up!! You may post these on your websites. (They say "midst" because thats my C&C alias.) A link to this website would be appreciated just below the picture as a source, but it is not required.

The overlay of how the E3 broadcast went:
To begin, the Generals representative and the Host talked about stuff we already knew about. It wasnt too exciting.
Then, Generals footage was shown that was created a year ago. All I can say is that the team sure has made a LOT of progress.
Then, the Generals demo was opened and a cinematic performance was shown (i wont get into detail, it's described below by a picture). The scenario was this: China and the U.S. teamed up against the GLA. A river separated the map in the middle with a connecting bridge. All the bases were shown, and a general was chosen for China and the U.S.
The rest was just a demonstration of the destruction of the GLA with U.S. and Chinese units.

C&C Generals New Pictures taken by MIDST:

This is a picture of the nuke that the Chinese launched.

This is another picture of the nuke that the Chinese launched, a few seconds after the first one. You can see the the zooming ability of the SAGE Engine by comparing these two pictures.

This is a picture of a U.S. base.

This is the same U.S. base, however, this picture shows the new sidebar and radar.

This is a Chinese base. The building to the left is [most likely, if I remember correctly,] the Chinese HeadQuarters/Construction Yard. The other building is perhaps a nuke silo, but possibly not. I remember a nuke silo being built, I just dont remember if it is that building specifically. You see the radar map and the Chinese General on the side bar on the bottom of the picture.

These Chinese infantry took out a small GLA encampment a few seconds after the U.S. sent in tanks. The U.S. tanks failed miserably, but the Chinese infantry succeeded valiantly. I guess that it was shown to demonstrate the variety of techniques that must be used to be successful in the game, so you cant just build tanks.

The explosion you see above is the Chinese using their "napalm bombs", available due to the Chinese general selected. One click of the button and about 5 red planes zoomed out and dropped "napalm bombs" onto what was just left of what the previous picture showed.

This picture is actually just cinematics, not the SAGE Engine. It was a "cut scene" replacement, showing a U.S. ambassador in a black limo driving to the U.S. Embassy in some country. The GLA ambushed the route though and destroyed the limo with a car bomb, and then a few technicals zoomed around. The picture above shows the U.S. tanks surrounding the a technical(s) and ordering them to surrender. The Technical replied, "Never!!" (or something like that) and either destroyed it self or got killed by the tanks when it started firing at them. And that ended the cinematics.

First the background: A GLA buggy managed to escape enemy fire and raced off to a dam conviently place. The buggy destroyed/created a large hole in the dam and it burst, flooding the entire river bank and nearby lowlands. This picture shows the beginning of the dam burst. This sequence was extremely good, and I'm mad that I didn't get any more shots. The terrain's reaction to the water rush was awesome.
