*Snowbird #1 114013on the ramp at Comox just minutes before the afternoon practice on April 15, 2004. - Derek Heyes -* WHAT'S NEW! April 2004 - The Snowbirds are wrapping up there Spring Training at 19, Wing Comox and will be departing for home on April 19th. The two weeks of Spring Training have given the team some of the best weather in recent years. During the first week, the weather was sunny with highs up to 22 degrees one day! The team even had to practice the Low Show in superb weather, that must have been frustrating to the pilots. This is Major Steve Will's last year as team lead and he has the team flying a terrific show. There are a few new maneuvers this year including an amazing head on 5 plane heartstopper! Go out and see the team when they are in your area, you won't be dissappointed! I'd like to thank Snowbird #11 Capt. Gavin Crouch and Crew Chief Sergeant Dave Scharf for arranging the photo shoot.
