What is a script anyway?
A script is nothing more than the same AutoCAD instructions you use on a daily basis, except that you use a text editor (such as Notepad) to create them and save them with a .scr extension.
The script can then be run from within AutoCAD and the commands inside the script will execute the same as if you typed them on the command line, but a whole lot quicker!! EZscript-Pro does just this.

Are scripts hard to write?
Simply put the answer is no. Simple scripts can be written quickly and easily. More complex scripts may take some practice but anyone can create scripts. Its actually a lot easier than learning to use AutoCAD.

Why would I use scripts?
Lets look at an example. Assume that you created a set of electrical drawings with 30 sheets to the set. You spent a considerable amount of time to make all those drawings. The drawings are then submitted to the customer and he now wants you to change something. Lets say the change is text in the title block and it's on all 30 drawings! How long will it take you?  Do you really want to open 30 drawings, make the change, close the drawing, open the next and so on... (and you've wanted to get out of work on time and go to a concert.)
That's where a script comes in. A script used with EZscript-Pro can do all this in less time, with speed and accuracy (and allow you to make it to that concert on time.)

Is EZscript-Pro really easy to use?
You bet! Its as simple as 1..2..3..4
1. Select the drawing(s) to change. Select as many as you want.  EZscript-Pro works on multiple drawings!
2. Select the script(s) you want to run. Select 1 or 100!
3. Click on "Create EZscript". A 'master' script named ezscript.scr will be created in C:\.
4. Click on Run AutoCAD.
EZscript-Pro will automatically open each and every drawing and execute the commands of your choice.
It's like having an assistant to do all the repetitive work for you at extreme speed!

Are scripts available on the internet?
There are thousands of scripts available on the Internet at various websites.
Your friends at ezscriptpro.com have a library of available scripts.

How do I configure EZscript-Pro?
Click on Edit-Options from the menu. The configuration screen will appear.
Enter the full path to your CAD program.   ( example.. C:\Program Files\Autocad R14\acad.exe )
Enter the path to your favorite text editor.   ( example.. C:\Windows\notepad.exe )
Select your version of AutoCAD
Click OK and you are all set. It couldn't be easier!

How does the EDIT feature work?
Select your script file to be used and add it to the 'selected' list.
In the 'selected' window, click on the script you want to edit. The EDIT button will appear.
Click the EDIT button and up pops your editor with your script inside. Edit the script, save, close and your script is ready to run. This is a handy feature if you have scripts that need minor changes.

Does EZscript-Pro work with other CAD programs?
EZscript-Pro
works with all versions of AutoCAD that allow scripts.
Future releases are planned that will work work with other CAD programs.

Can you tell me about the LISP feature?
Other 'script batchers' execute scripts for AutoCAD, but EZscript-Pro goes a step further. In addition to running scripts, you can also run your favorite LISP programs. And you can mix both LISP and scripts together to achieve real powerful results. Another advanced feature is our 'smart' system to automatically load and run your LISP routines for you without operator intervention!
As you know, you normally 'load' a LISP file and then type in the command to 'run' it.
EZscript-Pro handles this for you automatically. Now that's power!

It's only $4.99.
