My Saying:
"I dont hate on people, Unless I get hated first, then I voice my opinion to those that did it first." Treasure the simple things in life. Keep in touch with your special someone(s), for each passing minute is another opportunity to turn it all around. Life is like a video game, it just hase to be played right. Too bad there's no reset button. [rv]

Come to think about it. I'm still stunned by all the things I know about html codes, javascripts, and graphic designing. A year ago, I was a total newbie. I didn't know any components of a basic html page, which consist of [html][head][/head] and [body] Hello World!!! (for example) [/body][/html]. ok well, Therefore, I didn't have a due about how to design this personal page. Didn't know how to make tables, nor the simpliest thing like putting and image. Then, I started using angelfire to make myself a personal page because they provided some visual tools to create and modify one's page. Clever! But not for long. I found a lot of inconvenients. Eventually, a friend of mine told me that we could make pages with Swish v2.0. That was when i truly started learning. On one hand, I had this infatuation with Technical Graphics. Thus, I decided to develop my html skills by making a personal website. And frankly, these things in trigued me real bad. I could stay 10 hours straight in front of my computer designing a page. By the way, when i mentioned Swish v2.0, I don't use the tools they provide. The only advantage is that I can have a visual preview of my html content. Later on, I realized more things, that it's vital to have good visual presentation of the page combined with a good organization that ccan result a decent page. I used paint, alot; yup, a very helpful tool.

One thing I've noticed on Internet is that majority of the user's are selfish when it comes to html codes. Whenever they find some codes that made something special, they start to be egoistic and try to put some codes so that no one can get to their codes. Personally, i know 4 ways of getting someone's codes and 1 one them ALWAYS works. Another thing that kinda irritates me is that, some people take things from other people and declare that they're own. (stealers) Others will pretend that they thought about everything on their own, but in fact, it's not true. For both of you kind of people, I wanna say that you're just being hypocrites. Atleast give 'credits to the people who made an effort to help you or the places where you got your resources. "Rather than being egoistic, be more open and people will appreciate you and your ste more." think about it. All the well-known sites don't block their codes, yet they have a lot of excelletn codes, so don't think when you got some little codes on the internet, your really something amazing. I had followed the flow too much, people start to ban their codes with some alert message, so i did likewise. Then they put some fancy codes so nothing happens when you right click, so i did it as well. Then they disabled people from selecting all and so i did it again. Then i come to ask myself why i was doing this. The image I was giving others is that I'm a selfish person, egoistic, and hypocrite. No matter how good my site is, there's always gonna be someone better, when you find out that someone is better, your gonna change your webpage for something better. And that's called progress. And progress can go faster if we help each other. "To be good in noble, but to teach others how to be good is nobler - and no trouble." - [mt]

On Materialism in the U.S. - The standards of living were great, organized government and everything was so clean. But I'm sure it came with a hefty price tag. The society here, it seems as if it is based on monetary gains -everything has to do with money. People tend to buy expensive cars and never see their children just because they have to go to work for other things. Back home in other third world countries, people are poor, but they are happy. fod stops are common in the philippines because people would just walk there and hang out underneath a banana tree and it'll be the greatest time. Happiness found in the company of others, family and friends. Not in a Toyota Supra or Nissan Skyline... or a nice houes on a mountain. People here are willing to rip other people off to make money off objects, I mean i had a sports car! but to sacrifice friends and family for it, that's where you draw the line. Materialism..Greed..Lust - all here, in the U.S.

It's all on perspective, it's how you see things that'll be able to tell you how you deal with life. My H.S. teacher once said "There are two ways to think in life, two different perspectives." One way is the 'weak' way, a person tends to think that everything is "bad" luck, and escape from the problem, the fear to find a solution, believe it or not, there are people out there who think this way. The otherway is what he called 'the challenger's way'. The person tends to think everything is a challenge, yet another obstacle to tackle in life, Is this how you think? Scenario, a hug boulder is your path, are you going tosqueeze areound the small gasps? ignore it, move on, look back it later? are you going to find another path? and easier one maybe, and again ignore the problem, and have it again re-surface later? or will you climd over it, look down upon it, and say "WTF? was that it?! cuz that was hella easy - was that "supposed" to be the challenge"? I've had my share of mishaps in life and each one has made me stronger, I have overcome challenge after challenge, lookin up to the sky, to go and saying 'Bring it'. And why do bad things have to happen in life anyways? I've seen many Websites question this, and the only answer is "if there was no "bad" things in life, then how'd we know if there was a "good"? you'd never appreciate the other if you have no comparison to it - How'd you know that this feeling of sadness if you didnt know what happiness felt like? The sweet is never as sweet, without the sour. Yin Yang? equality, the thriving of each other. - 'there would be no good, without evil'. and another question asked, "why'd it have to happen to me?" my answer, because you needed a challenge to grow stronger from. you up for it?
