Welcome
Big Green Org. is a non-profit NGO that operates in the interest of the environment and child
education. Sponsors, both large business and personal donations, provide all of our funds. We are
based in Hamilton, Ontario but we hope to expand throughout Canada.
The main goal of Big Green Org. is to open the minds of children to environmental problems and ways
that they can help solve those problems. These school children are our future. We at Big Green
believe that by providing children with the proper education on the environment today, they will
become more environmentally friendly citizens tomorrow. We display many environmental problems in
our readings, such as irresponsible logging and high factory emissions. Our hope is that children
will recognize these problems and learn how they can help solve those and many other environmental
problems. To aid children in their first step, we have given them seeds to plant to help
re-establish an endangered species, the tulip tree.
