About
The daughter of Academy Award-winning actor Jon Voight {Midnight Cowboy), Angelina is no stranger to Hollywood. After graduating from high school at age 16, Angelina worked as a model while she trained to become an actress.
Before breaking out big with the HBO hit Gia, Angelina appeared in music videos for performers such as Meatloaf, Lenny Kravitz and The Lemonheads.
For a time, she was married to actor Johnny Lee Miller (Trainspotting) with whom she starred in Hackers. Her famous morbid quirkiness was on display at the ceremony when she work a white shirt on which she painted her husband's name in her own blood (across the back).
With the success of Gia, Jolie was propelled into stardom. She won the Oscar for Best Supportin Actress for her work on Girl, Interrupted in 1999 and vaulted herself into mega-stardom by taking the role of Lara Croft in the film adaptation super-popular computer game Tomb Raider.
