ASEAN Governments Backs U.S. on War vs Terrorism

    

     The ten-country Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) has come out strongly in support of the United States’ declared war on international terrorism.

    A sweeping anti-terrorism agreement was signed in August in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei, by U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell and Brunei Foreign Minister Mohamed Bolkiah representing ASEAN. Present in the signing of the accord were foreign ministers of the other ASEAN members including Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. more..........
