http://www.ozbearsracing.com/

2. Formula Extreme Pro Thunder bikes:

Classic machines are catered for in FX Pro Thunder bikes and naked bike classes:

Pro Thunder F3= All V4 cylinder engines under 700cc, All 3 cylinder engines under 700cc.  All 2 cylinder 2 valve engines inder 1100cc.  All 2 cylinder 4 valve engines under 750cc.

3. Bucket Racing :

Some smaller capacity classic machines are catered for in bucket racing classes.  The classes are adjusted so that two stroke engined machines, and four stroke engined machines are on a competitive 'level playing field'.  The class rules are available at:

http://www.ozbucketracing.com/rules.html

4.  Motorcycling Australia Historic:

Racing machines are classsifed by 'period' which relates to date of manufacture, and by capacity class.  Rationalising these two aspects has become a major problem for event organisers.  Newbies are advised to be careful to select classes in which they would be competitive when purchasing and preparing racing machines. They should note that time constraints during various meetings, often mean that capacity classes are combined within certain periods.  This means that riders of lower powered machines may be competing against others with  much higher power at their disposal.  For those desiring to ride lower powered machines, some form of 'bucket racing' may be a better option.
