Havner Dorm is our largest dorm facility. Constructed in 2008, it is also our newest dorm. Havner Dorm has 418 beds. The lower level has a fitness room, game room, and entertainment room with wide screen plasma televisions. The main floor has a visitor's center, and a small food service area for snacks and light refreshments.
Parker dorm was constructed about five years ago, so it remains a fairly modern facility. With over 200 beds, Parker has been our main dorm to house summer camp athletes. Parker has a small movie theater on the lower level as well as a four-lane bowling alley. Parker dorm has meeting rooms and a conference center on the lower level. Most classes are held in Parker Dorm. During times of inclement weather, athletes can expect to share their time between this dorm and the Collins Gymnasium.
The Perkins Dining Facility was opened three years ago and replaces the much smaller and outdated facility of the same name. The Perkins Dining Facility has many amenities, including a snack bar, a salad bar, and a sampling of many types of cuisines from Chinese, Mexican, Italian, and several others. The Dining Facility opens at 6 a.m. during the week and at 8 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Lunch is served from 12 to 1 p.m. Dinner is served from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Perkins facility also has a snack service area during the off hours till 10 p.m. for those athletes who miss a meal or who just get plain hungry.
Parking Lot A is located right next to the camp facilities. Please park in this lot from the first day forward. Please do not park in any of the other lots.
The Collins Gymnasium is at the heart of the training facility. Opened in 2008, Collins Gymnasium is an expansive, modern faculty with state-of-the art facilities. With 12 basketball courts, five racquetball courts, 4 indoor tennis courts, and a 10,000 square foot training center, the Collins Gymnasium has every amenity. Equipped with both sauna and massage rooms, Collins Gymnasium also has 1/8 mile indoor track.
Equipped with an Olympic-sized pool and two other smaller pools, the Rawlings Aquatic center is an ideal facility for athletes to work on strength-training and endurance year round.
The Smithson Fitness Center was the original fitness center. Although the Smithson Fitness Center has been eclipsed by the large scale of the Collins Gymnasium, the Smithson remains the center of choice for many athletes. The Smithson has a boxing arena, a pool, and a very well-equipped weight-training center.
Hallards Field is the home of our baseball training facilities. With ten baseball diamonds, Hallards Field is an expansive training facility for our baseball athletes.
Brantley Field is our football training field. Brantley Field seats over 5,000. When training camp is not in session, Brantley Field hosts many local high school and community college championship games.
Dashingworth Field is home to our ten soccer fields. Two of the practice fields have received new sod prior to the start of this training season.
