There are three kinds of zebras, but the Plains zebra is the most common. They live on the grassy plains in Africa. Each zebra has different stripe patterns. No two zebras are exactly alike. Their black and white stripes help to keep predators away. That means it keeps the zebras safe from danger. When a bunch of zebras stand together it is hard to tell where one zebra ends and another starts. Zebras like to eat grass. They are herbivores. That means they don't eat meat. A zebra can live for about 25 years.
