ACCOMMODATIONS FOR AVENTURA SPA PALACE We suggest using Jim Ziola for your reservations, as he can book you as a member (VIP package). No money is due until 60 days prior to your date of arrival. He can answer ANY questions you may have, including price quotes for 2006. He’s been wonderful to deal with, & very prompt in answering questions. You are more than welcome to use your own travel agent, book directly through the Palace Resort website, or book on your own. Although we have not booked our flights yet, we plan to leave early morning from Dulles or Regan National on 4/26/06, & return 5/4/06 in the evening. We will be taking non-stop flights. AIRFARE INFORMATION Cancun International Airport (CUN) I looked into group discounts for our wedding. Here are some options: American Airlines – 5% discount for 10 or more passengers flying their airline for Ruoff/Barnette Wedding between 4/22/06-5/6/06 (you do not have to be on the same flights). US Airways – 5% discount for 10 or more passengers flying their airline to our wedding between 4/23/06-5/4/06. 10% discount for booking 60 days or more in advance. Call (877) 874-7687 8:00 AM - 9:30 PM Eastern Time, refer to Gold File Number 27123435. United Airlines – They require that 10 or more people be on the same flight for a discount, & a contract must be signed. If you think that you might meet the requirements for this, please let me know. ****TRANSFERS**** Please know that you will need a transfer from Cancun Airport to the resort. When you book through Jim Ziola or through the Palace Resorts website, these are included. If not, you will need to set that up prior to your arrival. Rental cars are not recommended!!!!! Formal invitations will be sent out in October 2005, & a reception will be held in VA on 5/20/06 in celebration of our wedding. If you choose to use Jim Ziola for your reservations, please make sure to mention to him that you are attending the Ruoff/Barnette Wedding.
