I came across this amazing gadget today. I thought it was so cool, that I just had to share it with you guys. It's called the Optimus keyboard. It is the greatest invention known to mankind. Why is it so special? Well, each key had it's own OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) screen. The keys change depending on what you are doing, or what language you are typing in. Some examples are, if you have PhotoShop open, it will show you which shortcut key is which, and if you are playing a game, the controls will show up on their corresponding keys (for example, if space is set to jump, that the space bar will have the word 'jump' written on it). There are also extra buttons on the side that you can assign to open programs. Also, it's style blends right in with Apple's Power Book/Power Mac series. Unfortunately, the only one currently in existence is the prototype, and it's not scheduled for production until next summer. I can't wait, I gotta get me one of those baby's when they come out.
