To keep the front page reasonably organized, I'm going to post whatever updates I've added to the site in this little section. If news travels down the line to me about any appearances, or a magazine article/photoshoot on news stands, or a tellyshow for the at-home viewers, I'll make sure to list them here as well. -TerrieB
07.27.03- Just a quickie update for today, but its a little something that alot of people have been requesting. Over in "Multimedia" you'll find 5 video shorts of the Calvin Klein "Crave" commericial that aired so heavily on Mtv. All the videos were recorded and converted and donated by Terri in Phoenix. You'll need the latest version of Real Media to view the videos. As a special note to other webmasters, I kindly ask that you don't direct link or download the videos for use on your sites. I'm having a hard enough time keeping up with my own bandwidth usage. And Terrie worked her ass off to get these prepped and ready for the fans and simply requested that the vids be available only on this site. Thanks to all in advance and hope you guys enjoy the videos. And special thanks to Terri. You're the coolest, cupcake!
FINALLY!! An update! Aren't you surprised? LOL! Sorry, guys for the lack of updates. I'm not going to go too much into this because this site isn't about me. But I do feel that I owe you guys an explanation. I'll keep it short and to the point. Towards the end of May I had to spend a month in a Texas hospital after haveing emergency open heart surgery. This wasn't the first time I've gone thru this, but it has been the most difficult to recouperate from. While I was gone, there was no one to tend to the site or my personal finances, so the site was down for awhile until I could get home to straighten things out. Well, I'm back now and things are slowly getting better. I've managed to get much of the contributions from fans catalogued, but there's a few things I'm having to wait for. Right now, I've got 16 images up in the "Travis 5" gallery, and some glorious new artwork from Sil and stanislav. Please do yourself a favor and look for those in the "Original Art Gallery". Also, someone sent along some poetry and with all the shuffling my email accounts have gone thru in the past few weeks I've regrettably lost it. If you sent this poetry, please resend it and I'll get a page set up to host it. Again, I sincerely apologize to all those out there who've been waiting for an update to the site. Trust me, I would have preferred hanging out here with you guys than stuck in a hospital. =) Anyway, go check the new stuff we've got posted on the site and look for a surprise in the next week or so. I've got a few goodies from the past to add to the site that have been on the top of many a Travis fan's list. Until then, take care and much love on ya!!
05.20.03- Got another great update for today! You'll find 5 new pics and few links to even more great online images in the "Travis 5" gallery. Also, make sure you go by the "Tarzan" gallery/media page for some fabulous new promos and stuff. Special thanks go out to all the contributors and fans for sending links, images, and all kinds of wonderful, encouraging emails. You guys are fabulous!!
