Sawada Taiji biography

    Sawada taiji was born in Chiba,Japan  in  12 July 1966.  When taiji was still in primary school, he began to listen to music such as  the Beatles , Queen, Oliver Newton John ,Wings etc.....
        His musical talent was discovered when he was during  the third year of his college. When he was little, he began to take his father's guitar and played with it. That was why when he first formed a band called 'trash' with his college friends, he was the guitarist of the group.
          'Trash' was disband when taiji was 18.After this , he joined 'Demensia' as bassist but taiji left after one year plus with the band. By this time, Yoshiki called him up and asked him to join his band. Initially, X's impression to taiji was not very good but after listening to their demo tapes given to him from Yoshiki, he agreed to join the band.
            Though having such a strong bassist in X, taiji left X in 1992 after the Tokyo Dome concert. After this, he joined loudness, followed by D.T.R(Drive To Revolution). D.T.R is a band he created. Both bands ended very shortly. He tried committing suicide twice but failed....as he divorced with his wife during that time too......
             After some time, he became a musician again.....this time, he jammed with Cozy Powell.....then formed his own band 'cloud nine' and has been playing with that band. Recently, taiji has formed a new band and is active in the music scene again...his new band is called 'Oto kaze'
