From the pits of NASCAR to the Fox studios in Los Angeles to the middle of the field after the World Series, Jeanne Zelasko is making it big in a man's world. Jeanie says, “Guess what? Dreams do come true."

Jeanne should know. Just 10 years ago she was a radio traffic reporter in San Diego. She says, “I never saw any way in the door. I never thought it would happen."

But Zelasko, a lifelong sports addict, got a small job in TV and began climbing the ranks. It was a 10-year journey that took her straight to the top. The secret to her success? Modesty. She says, “There's nothing special about me."

She also has a refreshing attitude in a cutthroat business. She says, “I'm just nice to people. Because they always say what comes around, goes around and that's the truth."

These days, Jeanne has also found time for love. She's married to Curt Sandoval, a local sports reporter in L.A. He says, “People around me think that I should have this ego bruise, because my wife is a network host and I’m not. I always tell them it's a great problem to have."

These two are squeaky clean. They met at a baseball game where Curt won her over with the suave pickup line, “Do you know where baseballs are made?"

Now Jeanne, who's 35, is expecting her first child in the spring. It's been a long road from traffic reporting to handing out the World Series trophy, but the day this glorious ride comes to an end, Fox's new "it" girl will feel nothing but gratitude.

She says, “I'll just ride off into the sunset with some incredible experiences and let someone else have a run at it."
