Biography
Ana Paula Arosio's destiny came knocking on her door at the age of twelve while shopping in a supermarket with her mother in San Paulo, Brazil. The spunky little Brazilian rebel accidentally pushed the shopping cart over a man's foot. The man happened to be a representative for an advertisement agency. The agent quickly noticed her qualities and asked the mother to bring Ana Paula for a photo session. In a short time, the adorable Arosio was on the cover of major Brazilian, American and European magazines.

In 1989, she was invited to work in Tokyo, Japan for a television show called Praca do Rock with her mother. Her hectic sixteen-hour work schedule was marked by a strange encounter with a rich Arab that offered to pay a couple of thousand barrels of oil for Ana Paula. Her mother quickly reminded him that in Brazil, people do not buy other people. To which the rich Arab responded, "You mean in Brazil it's free?"

At the age 17, Ana Paula started to dream about acting, and with her charm and fame, it was only a matter of time before she would captivate audiences all over the world. By the age of twenty-one, she already had under her belt three soap operas: Eramos Seis, Razao de Viver, and Ossos de Barao. In 1991, she had a small role in her first big screen movie called Forever, a Walter Hugo Khouri movie and co-produced with RAI.

In 1994, Ana Paula signed a contract with SBT to star as Amanda in a new soap opera called Eramos Seis. Soon after, Fulvio Stefanini and Luis Gustavo approached Ana Paula to star in Batom, and she also starred in Razao de Viver, and Os Ossos do Barao. (Full Bio ....)
