Interview By: Tracey Williams
Tracey: How is your debut tour going?
Steve: Fine, scary at times. opening up at my high school was nerve wrecking, but fun at the same time.
Tracey: You opened with LaBamba, any reason?
Steve: Ritchie Valens is a big inspiration to me, I learned of his music through my mom who followed his music.
Tracey: Is this the first time 'Strangers' is performed live on stage?
Steve: Yes, actually this song was written for a school project and with the help with my guitarist John Lloyd, it ended up as the song you know today.
Tracey: Do you have any plans for touring outside of Ontario, Canada?
Steve: No, not at this time. My focus right now is to get the music out and to get as much interest in it for the tour.
Tracey: Who is an inspiration or helped you get into music?
Steve: Many have, my mom is the biggest factor, Ritchie Valens music along with Elvis Presley, Bruce Springsteen, Michael Damian to name a few. My music teacher Paul Kelly is a big help in development.
Tracey: Where do you see yourself in the future?
Steve: Not sure, taking one day at a time.
Tracey: Any girlfriends to share with us?
Steve:, yes, but not wanting to share.
Tracey: You will be playing at Bill Whites' this sunday, will it be an accoustic show?
Steve: Yes, no bass or drums, just me and John Lloyd on guitar.
Tracey: Do you plan on having a lot of accoustic shows in the future?
Steve: Not really, this time around it just happened that way, the band will follow with me at the next venue at Roxanne's.
Tracey: Good luck on this tour and hope to speak with you again.
Steve: My pleasure and thank you for the time
