The plot of Episode II takes place 10 years from Episode I. Anakin is 19 and Padme is 24. Again Padme has someone trying to kill her. So the Jedi Councle assign Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker to protect her, but when a Bounty Hunter makes an attempt to kill Padme again and then suddenly leaves, Obi-Wan is faced with a task of hunting down the Bounty Hunter. So Obi-Wan assigns Anakin to take Padme to Naboo and keep her safe. Well as the movie goes on the story gets alot more complicated.
