For my birthday I went to NYC to see Sascha in Swan Lake.....I was absolutely so excited! During the first act I couldn't recognize Sascha because he was playing the role of Rothbart, the evil sorceror and was wearing a fake beard and alot of make-up. During the intermission I was so upset that I could not recognize him I almost cried! Then my Dad went to the bar and asked if there was any way we could meet the dancers. The bartender said that we could meet them if we rushed out of the show and ran to the lobby to wait for them. She was sooooooo right! I waited an hour for Sascha and then when he walked out of the door.... I ran right up to him and started talking. I got an autograph and was shocked that when we left to go home I kept saying to everyone... "I met Sascha Radetsky."

i met sascha this last summer at the vail international dance festival. i went to a free talk that him and ethan stiefel were giving. i got to ask them, "do you like grand allegro, petite allegro, or turns better?" ethan likes turning on a good day, and sascha likes "big manly jumps." he said that he likes to do the classic roles and play manly parts. after the talk, we got to watch ABT take company class before rehearsing for "stiefel and stars." sascha took class by his girlfriend. he has gorgeous feet and can really fly. ethan did 6 yes 6 pirouettes to the right - in a row!! it was pretty awesome. they took class with gillian murphy (ethan's girlfriend), amanda mckerrow, michelle wiles, stella, and lots of others. it was the best day of my life, that and meeting other great dancers like rasta thomas and wendy whelan a couple days before. i like these people b/c they are dancers, not b/c they are movie stars. i admire them and the hard work they do. i got all their autographs and pics with them, but i do not have a scanner just yet. keep dancing everyone!!

I had watched the movie Center Stage and had absoluetly fallen in love with him. I had to go buy the movie. I went to California for a vacation and I was walking down the street with my sister just checking out the sites and I saw someone coming down the street and they looked like him. I didn't say anything until he got closer to me and I was in shock. I then asked him what his name was and he told me "Sascha" I told him that I was his biggest fan and that I bought the movie Center Stage just because of him and he thought that was cool. We had an awesome conversation and I got a picture with him. I haven't got it developed yet but when I do I will send it to you.

In August my friend and I went to Vail, Colorado to see some dancers from American Ballet Theatre perform. Sascha Radetsky and Ethan Stiefel were there! They are the most amazing male dancers in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gillian Murphy, Stella Abrera, and Amanda McKerrow were there also. They were all amazing. Afterwords we got their autographs. It was really awesome. We weren't allowed to bring cameras so I didn't take any pictures. The next day we were walking around Vail and my friend and I saw Sascha and Stella walking around town. My friend said hi and we told them how wonderfully they had danced. They seemed surprised that someone had said anything to them. I can't believe how some girls are about Ethan and Sascha. They only like them because of their looks. I think that people should pay more attention to to their dancing 'cause it is pretty amazing.

I saw Sascha during the summer! It was unbelievable! I saw him walking down the street and I said "hi!" I so love Sascha! I don't know what else to say but "OH YEAH!!!! I MET SASCHA RADETSKY!!"

hi i saw your website and you said you wanted info on sascha radetsky. well, last friday (7/26/02), i was at the broadway dance center in nyc with my friend. we were going to take a ballet class with jan miller and were very excited. so, we're stretching and minding our own business and in walks sascha radetsky with yena kang (she's a corps de ballet dancer at abt like sascha). so naturally, being the dance-head that i am, i sort of freak out, but he can't see me. i go into the class and coincidentally yena and him are really close to me! maybe three or four feet. it was pretty cool. i knew he didn't want to be bothered, and i was too shy to say anything, so i didn't. he only stayed for barre, but he is a fabulous dancer. also, he looks a lot more buff in person! (and cuter! he has a lot of freckles, but it makes him look really cute!). we had portable barres in the studio and my friend and i were trying to lift it up and carry it back when we were to start floorwork. yena and sascha came over to us and helped us with the barre. i was closer to yena, and my friend to sascha. but, i still was very close. he is a marvelous dancer and seems like a really polite and nice guy, but then again, i didn't really talk to him. but when my friend thanked him for bringing the barre back, he said "no problem". great website! :-)

This summer I went to the Cenral Florida Ballet Intensive Workshop just because Sascha Radetsky was going to give a class. So, I auditioned for a spot. Never did I expect to be so close to him. Well to make a long story short, I became his music person for his classes that I was not in. He was really nice and good looking. You can't believe what it's like to have a conversation with him. He always looks into your eyes. I nearly fainted every time he talked to me or said my name. When I went to the meet and greet the company hosted, I nearly had a heart attack because he remembered my name. He said " your name is Jeannie right?" I was like OH MY GOD! I hope to see him again soon. I will try to send the pictures I got with him I just need to get to a scanner. That was the most incredible experience i've ever had. I learned alot from him too as a teacher. He's the sweetest person on earth. I will be attending next years workshop in hopes of seeing Sascha but more than that to become a better dancer. He also signed my toe shoes as well as the movie and a pictue of him. Your website is fantastic! Love, SASCHA'S BIGGEST FAN
