Jun.27.03The Red Sox wives are having an auction June 29 to raise money for
the American Diabetes Association. Ben being a huge Red Sox fan has
donated items to be auctioned off. He donated a Good Will Hunting
DVD, a Good Will Hunting script, and two Daredevil posters. While J.
Lo donated her CD, and an item from her new clothing collection. All
the items Ben and J. Lo donated were autographed.
April.30.03According to the Boston Herald, Ben and J. Lo have bought a $16 million 83-acre "Gone With The Wind"-style plantation on Georgia's tony Hampton Island. US Weekly has reported they are having a chapel built and they will have their wedding on the plantation.

Jan.30.03 Ben has made headlines in the British tabliods once again, but this time it's not about his hair. The tabloids reported that Ben and Jen had a lover's spat at the Sundance Film Festival after Ben told Jen that he and Matt were going to have a guys night out. This didn't go over well with Jen, and supposedly she said "If I'm not invited to go with you and Matt, then maybe I'm not the one you should be marrying. Maybe you should marry Matt." The tabliods never said if Ben ever got to go with Matt, but they did say that to make Jen happy he sent her $3,000 worth of pink roses. Jan.27.03 J. Lo finalized her divorce from Chris Judd this weekend, she has given him $13.5 million which he hasn't formally accepted. This means she and Ben can get married anytime now.

"Red Dragon boogey man Ralph Fiennes tells People maggie he was a "beard" for Cambridge homey Ben Affleck during the filming of "Maid In Manhattan," his new comedy co-starring Jennifer Lopez. Fiennes said rumors linking him and J. Lo during the filming of the flick were a coverup to hide her affair with Affleck. "Later I said, 'Jennifer, I'm a little jealous. We were having a thing - now it's Ben. I was the decoy.'"
Oct.23.02The tabloids are at it again, this time the Star claims that Ben and J. L o are planning a
wedding for Valentines Day, which is just a three short weeks after her divorce becomes
final with Chris Judd. The Star reports that they will be married at the Ritz-Carlton in
San Juan, in a 1.5 million dollar fantasy wedding. The guest is over flowing with the
hottest names in Hollywood. Matt Damon has been name best man, and he will be flown
in by a $80,000 jet, while Ben’s bro Casey has been reduced to guest status. The reason
why Casey doesn’t have a part in the wedding is that J. Lo only wants a maid of honor,
and a best man at the head table besides her and Ben. The Star also reported that Ben and
J. Lo will exchange $100,000 platinum and diamond rings. That may seem like a lot of
money, but remember Ben bought her a $225,000 Ferrai, and she bought him a $150,000
Bentley. That’s all they reported about the wedding, but remember this is just a tabloid,
it’s probably not true, although they were right when they reported that they were dated
back when very few people believed it.
Oct.17.02Forget the petition to save Push, Nevada, Entertainment Tonight reported ABC has cancelled the show. According to ABC, the ratings for Push, Nevada have been falling and they are thinking
about canceling it. If you want to help save the show, sign this petition. They should
move it to another time spot, since it has to compete with Will & Grace and CSI every
week. Magazine alert, Ben is in Seventeen this month. It is one page with 4 pictures of
him in the MTV photo booth. Sep.29.02Last week Ben was on Prime Time with Regis and Kelly, and he proved the rumor about him being bald was false, by tugging on his hair. With that rumor gone, there are still more. During the last couple weeks, tabloids have been coming up with new rumors. One said J. Lo was pregnant, another said Ben and J. Lo were getting married, and they had a date set and everything. A couple days ago in the Boston Herald they reported that Ben is planning on getting engaged to J.Lo, and that Ben's Mother isn't happy about it at all. She doesn't like J. Lo's recored so far in the marriage department. But this is just a rumor, The Boston Herald got hold of this information from a "friend" of Ben's Mother.
Sep.6.02Today in the Boston Herald they reported that there is a new Ben rumor going around,
and no it’s not about him and J. Lo, it’s about his hair. The rumor is Ben has started to go bald so he wears a "rug". The British newspaper The Daily
Star started the rumor by reporting that Ben’s "rug" fell off when he and actor Vince
Vaughn were play-fighting. A source told the paper that "Ben was embarrassed, But he
was with friends and begged them to keep his secret." Apparently, they didn't.
Sep.2.02According to the Boston Herald, Ben was in Boston on August 31 showing J. Lo the L
Street Tavern where part of Good Will Hunting was shot. The bar keeper said he first
recognized J. Lo, because his kids are fans of her, but Ben didn’t ring a bell with him
until Ben started showing her the picture of himself on the wall. The two only stayed for a
few minutes without ordering anything. The bar keeper said Ben asked how business was
and J. Lo just sat and smiled. Then they left.
The Boston Herald also reported Gwynth Paltrow isn’t happy with Ben going out with J.
Lo, and has been quoted saying she is “appalled” that Ben is dating her. Apparently she is
still mad at J. Lo for dissing her in an interview she gave to Movieline magazine in 1998
(Gwynth let it go it was 4 years ago), she said “Some people get hot by association. I
heard more about her and Brad Pitt than I ever heard about her work.”
This was in the September 2, 2002 issue of US Weekly, Being with J. Lo isn’t the only
thing Ben shares with J. Lo’s ex-husband Chris Judd, they also have the same birthday.
On August 15 Ben turned 30, while Chris Judd turned 33.
In the same issue they reported that Ryan Starr, the American Idol contestant voted off
three weeks ago, has a crush on Ben. They quoted her as saying, “Hold it, I’m supposed
to marry him!” when she heard he was dating J. Lo. Aug.29.02On Tuesday in the Boston Herald they reported that Ben has put a deposit down on a
penthouse in Boston, at the Court Square Press Building. Also on Tuesday I was listening
to a morning talk show on a radio, and they said that it is rumored that the whole Ben and
J. Lo thing is an act. Everything has been publicity for their careers, and their
upcoming movies Gigli and Jersey Girl. The bracelet and cars were free advertising for
Harry Winston and the car companies.
Again this is just a rumor going around, it's not a fact, but it does make you stop and
think.
Aug.19.02Today there was an interview on Good Morning America with Ben, Matt Damon, and
Chris Moore about Project Greenlight2 (it wasn't live, it was previously taped). The reporter who did the interview
said that after the interview, as she was leaving the studio, J. Lo was on her way in.

Surviving Christmas began filming on January 20. It was suppose to be released Christmas 2003, but it won't be released until Christmas 2004. The production company has decided to release Paycheck this year instead.
Gigli, the movie starring Ben and Jen, wil not be released in May. Once again the movie has been set back and won't be realesed until August 1. Ben and Jen are reshooting most of the movie because of poor test screenings.
The Sundance Festival is going on this week in Utah. According to the Boston Herald Ben and Jen caused a small traffic jam when they walked down the street, and people stopped to look at them.
**Ok this isn’t news but I feel the need to make a comment. If this is true, J. Lo needs to
let Casey be in the wedding. Come on, this is her third wedding, and probably not her
last. Ben like most other people, won’t get married three times in like two years, so she
should just let anyone Ben wants to be in the wedding.**
