Summary:
A giant asteroid is headed for earth, and if it hits earth it will kill everything and
everyone. With only 18 days until impact NASA decides to train, and send oil drillers to
the asteroid, so they can drill a hole and drop a nuclear warhead into it’s core.
Review:
If you are looking for a logical, believable movie, then keep looking because this isn’t
one of those movies. This movie totally bends logic. For instants why is it easier to train oil drillers to be
astronauts, then it is to train astronauts to be oil drillers. It seems learning to drill a hole would be easier
then learning to space walk. If you get over the fact the movie doesn’t offer a lot of logic,
you will find it is a lot of fun to watch. It has a lot of comedy, (anything with Steve
Buscemi in it is bond to be funny) and a little bit of romance (Ben is so cute when he does
scenes with Liv Tyler). I recommend this film to teenage girls. I have found that
most adults and boys don’t practically like this movie.
