Tea and Del arrive in Hawaii. As they depart the plane and enter the airport, Tea suddenly stops, panic rising in her.]
Del: What's wrong?
Tea: This was a mistake. We should go back.
Del: After the money I spent for that flight, we're staying.
Tea: Just because the ticket Todd arranged for me was in first class didn't mean that I had to use that ticket.
Del: The only space left on the flight was in first class.
Tea: I was willing to wait for a different flight.
Del: Whatever Manning set up was with the expectation that you would be on this particular flight.
Tea: Coming here again was one of the worst mistakes I've ever made.
Del: Your entire relationship with Manning has been nothing but a long, twisted mistake. Relax and enjoy it.
Tea: Why are you encouraging this?
Del: You still have feelings for the creep. Each time he does something horrible, your feelings for him become less of a factor. I'm hoping this is the final time your feelings for that loser will make you do something stupid, like dropping everything in your life and flying across the country with less than a day's notice just because he wanted you to. And, at least this way I can keep an eye on you while you're making a fool out of yourself over someone who isn't worth it.
Tea: I have no intention of making a fool out of myself over that man ever again.
Del: I'm glad to hear it, but I'll believe it when Manning's in front of you and you don't cave and give in to his whims again.
Tea: I am through with Todd Manning and his whims.
Del: You almost sound convincing.
Tea: I mean it this time. He's made a fool of me too many times. He's in for a surprise if he thinks I'll ever forgive him for what he did to me last year.
Del: You are talking about being stuck on that island, right? Because, if he did something more to you, he won't have to worry about facing your wrath. He'll be dead two seconds after I see him.
Tea: This is my battle. Let me fight it.
Del: Why am I here?
Tea: To make sure I don't lose my willpower when I see him.
Del: I don't get the power that guy has over you.
Tea: There's something about his eyes when he looks at me.
Del: I've known plenty of women with great eyes, but none that have the effect Manning has on you.
Tea: If I just don't look him in the eyes, I'll be okay. And, if he doesn't touch me...or speak to me.
Del: Basically, we have to turn around right now.
Tea: That's a good idea.
Del: You and I both know it would eat you up not knowing what could have happened between you and Manning this time.
Tea: He could abandon me on a deserted island again.
Del: That is one thing you don't have to worry about. I won't let that happen. Let's just get this showdown with Manning over with so I can give my full attention to the girls in the grass skirts.
Tea: If I'm lucky, Todd will see you and give up on whatever his plan was.
Del: I could make myself inconspicuous, if you're worried my being here will chase that little boy away.
Tea: I want Todd to see you. I want him to know that I have no intention of allowing him to manipulate me this time. I know you think he already has. You're wrong. I came here to tell Todd Manning to go to hell. That's what I'll do. Then, I'll go home and never think about him again.
Del: You just admitted that you cave whenever you're around him.
