Hi i'm Casey Trahan.I'm 17 years old and I'm from Lafayette,La.I'm known as the biggest Plus One Guy Fan in the world.Well in my eyes i beleive i am,lol!
How did you get your start in singing?
Actually I really never liked to sing growing up until Plus One came out.I always like to dance.So it was a perfect match.I already new how to dance so all i needed was my vocal talent.
Who are some of your biggest influences [in music or in life] ?
Nate Cole,The whole Plus One group,True Vibe,Jesus,Bob's(my best friend) brother.Justin Timberlake(His music and dress style)
How did you get the idea for "PlusONE Pretenders"?
Well,I was watching a tv show called THE GREAT PRETENDERS then I put Plus One infront of pretenders and it spelled out POP!Me and my friends were big fans of Plus one and we just felt liek imitating them and having fun.We did it for numerous reasons.One was to get Plus one's attention that we loved them to death.Second is to have fun and Glorify God and show people it's kool to be a christian.Third this was a stepping stone if we ever get into the music world.
Is it harder to learn songs, or to learn dance steps?
Neither one I would say is hard.The dance moves are real easy to learn because it's something we like to do.The singing part is simple because we listen to their record over and over again.
Describe the feeling you get when you perform on stage.
Oh wow!That's one of the best feelings anybody can feel.Everything moves so fast and u forget a lot of stuff,like stuff u would like to do,u wouldn't remember to do,lol!You heart is beating fast.The second the music starts you know it's time to go and do ur thing.When u hear people screaming and clapping it's a great feeling because that's a sign that they liked you.But it's easy to get prideful while one stage but if you keep God first in your life you won't be prideful.You'll do it for God.
Finally, what is something you want to say to all the fans out there, and to all the people who have supported your singing?
First thing I wanna thank God for his forgiveness.I've screwed up so many times i'm surprised Jesus took me back.But Jesus is a forgiving God and that's why I stay true to him.Don't ever lose Jesus,he's all you have in this world.Second I wouldn't call them fans because we were really never famous.But I would liek to call our so called Fans our Friends because I talk to a lot of people online and the majority are girls.Some of these girls are looking for a guy that will treat them goood and with respect.I feel as a christian guy it is my job to talk to them and tell them there is good godly christian guys out there and all you have to do is wait and pray for him.I want them to feel good about themselves and to be happy all of their days.Sense I'm always happy I just want to share Jesus's love with them.Thank you to everybody that supported us and stay true to God.I love yall so much!And see ya in heaven,lol!
Can you introduce yourself and the other members of the band?
I am Dewain Trendy (lead vox, bass). The other members are Dan Summers (guitar), and Ben Nelson (drums).
For everyone who hasn't heard of you guys, describe your sound and what your live shows are like.
This is always hard to do, but our sound can be compared to a mixture of Jimmy Eat World, Foo Fighters, and Hey Mercedes.
Where are you guys based from?
Melbourne, Rockledge, and Merritt Island, Fla. All in Brevard County
How did you get your start in music?
For me (Dewain) I was in 10th grade when I tried to join my first punk band. when they kicked me out, I started my own (www.TheTrendys.cjb.net) and so began my musical career. Dan, I believe, had a high school punk band called Second Place. and Ben also had a high school punk band called Vetro Scarpa. We all come from harsh, crappy punk backgrounds, but we've matured nicely into a sound that everyone is sure to enjoy.
Who are some of your biggest influences [in music or in life] ?
I'm not sure, it's probably on the website, but i'll guess... Me-John Lennon, Dan-Brandtson, an Ben-Alkaline Trio
Which of these do you like better: buying cd's, burning cd's, or just downloading music from the internet?
We all let dan download, then he burns us cd's. When our album is complete, I hope everyone downloads and gives a copy to their friends.
Finally, what is something you want to say to all the fans out there, and to all the people who have supported the band?

Can you introduce yourself, and what kind of music you sing?
-Hi, my name s Rainy! I live in Broward County, FL and I have been singing professionally for 4 years. I have been solo for about 2 years. I'm part Jamaican, part Black American, and I have been singing since the age of 3! I can't rmember when I wrote my first song but I've been writing poems & stories since I was about 5 and melodies to poems since about 7. I love Backstreet Boys, Chocolate anything, andcute guys! LOL
Where are you based from?
I usually say Miami, FL but I'm actually from Miramar which is right next to Miami.
Which is better: performing for a live crowd or recording music?
Most people say performing live, but audiences vary so largely so rigth now my favorite thing is to record. I love actually making the song. I'm a very technical person and I plan on learning how to use recording equipment.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Producing hits, singing, raising my babies (yes even at 27/28!)
Describe the feeling you get when you go onstage and see all the people in the audience. (this leads into my next question..)
- I love going onstage. A lot of times I'm one in a line up of artists and the people could care less what I'm singing. But by the time I get off people are clapping and dancing. They say I have stage prescense and I'm told I should go into acting as well.
Do you ever get stagefright when you're performing, or forget words to a song?
-I've never gotten stage fright. The audience will love me because if I didn't believe I was good I'd never go onstage at all! I have forgotten words. Usually I'll notice and substitute words and if you don't know the song then you won't even notice. I've fooled my family before!
Any final comments, thoughts, or messages you want to say to your fans and everyone else who has supported your music?
Gosh-please stick around. Most of my fans are the sweetest people ever and even though I haven't done much work because of problems with my vocal chords I do have a show scheduled in November on the 8th which is a Friday night and right off Las Olas so drive down and see it and I hope to see you there!

Saloni: We're all from different places. It's kinda weird because we're all in differnt places, but it's still cool. I live in Canada.

How did you all get your start in music and singing?
Bridget: Well when i was in 4th graded i started to get into singing
Saloni: I've always been into singing, ever since i was a little kid. In elementary school i joined all the choir's and i still annoy people alot because i talk so much about singing!
Chrissy: I've always loved to sing since I was a little kid. I think everyone who knows me knows I loved to sing. I actually didn't think I'd make it until a few years ago when this 7 yr. old kid told me that I'd make it.
JAsmin~ Well music has always been a escape for me. Like when im singing i go in another dimention where anything that has brought any like depression in my life goes away and its like me,my music, and my dream are all together and nothing can ruin that moment.
Name one artist you all would love to do a duet with.
Bridget: I would love to do a duet with aaron carter ebcause i have a huge crush on him
Saloni: I would also pick Aaron cause i really love his voice and he has awesome music. He seems like a great person to work with and i think it's be a great experience. I'd also like to do one with Britney Sprears, she's just awesome and like the queen of pop. I hope we're as big as her some day.
Chrissy: I'd definetly want to do a duet with Matt Ballinger. He has a great voice and he's sooooooooooo sweet
Jasmin~ God its all about Madonna! She has inspired me so much! I mean like even when shes lik 45 she is still singing and still a legend! Other than her god the guys from DreAm Street ooohh is it just me but everytime i think of Greg it gets really hott in herre!
Where did the group name, JADED RAIN, come from?
Bridget: well Saloni had came up with the name
Saloni: LOL actually that'a a funny story, Me and Bridget were trying to decide what to name the group one day so a little while later I was singing the song "Jaded" while i was in the shower and i was looking at my shaving creame and i notices the purple raindrops and thought it was funny. After that it all just clicked.
Chrissy: No clue. No told me (laughs)
Jasmin~ Uhhh...... yea wut she said......Ditto!
Finally, do you girls have any last-minute thoughts/comments on your fans, and all the people who've supported the group?
Bridget: I just wanna thank them for supporting us and it's great to have fans too
Saloni: Oh wow, I don't know what to say! They've all been so wonderful! I'd like to say thank you to them for supporting us and being there for us. And also for keeping our hopes up. You guys rock!!!
Chrissy: There are no words to describe how much it means to me that my dreams may finally come true. I just want to say to everyone thanks for everything.
