Shadows swirling in the mist
Surrounding me with a blanket of fog
Encasing my thoughts and feelings
Things I don?t want brought to light
Shadows slinking into the night
Trying to let memories go
Shadows are telling me no
They come and they go
Bringing fear into my heart
Shadows following me
Right from the start
