The Phantom

Much has been written about the Phantom, the first masked crusader in the comic world, launched by Lee Falk on February 17, 1936, as a newspaper strip. The Phantom predates the other, more popular masked comic crime fighters, like Superman, Batman and Spiderman. It is not my intention to create another Phan site on him. On the right are images of Phantom comics from various countries.  I shall try to post interesting snippets of information, images related to Phantom comics etc. in this page ... call it a quirk of mine.  After all, can't I devote a page to my favorite comic book hero, when I have devoted close to a hundred pages to my favorite novelist??
