[Todd and Jessica join the party out on the terrace, Bo walks over to them... and Téa inches her way closer to them as well.]

[Viki rushes over to get between them.]

Viki: Look, this is Jessica’s night. So I’m asking both of you, don’t start anything, ok?

Bo: No, this is... it’s already started, Viki. This is the guy who started it.

Viki: Bo, please.

Bo: I’ve been reading everything that you’ve written about me.

Todd: Mm-hmm. So did everybody else in this town.

Viki: Alright, both of you, that’s enough. I mean it.

Bo: You write one more word about my son, it’s gonna be the last one you’ll ever write.

Téa: (who has moved up closely behind Todd) Don’t, don’t, just....

Todd: (loudly) Ooooh. Everybody, the Commissioner’s threatening me.

Bo: No, the Commissioner is not. I am.

Viki: Stop it, please. Now!

Kevin: Todd, come on, knock it off.

Todd: Oh, shut up.... You of all people. I will print what I want to... freedom of the press and all that. But I’ll give you a choice which story I go with, because either the Commissioner is letting his son take a fall for him, or the Commissioner’s son is a lying, murdering, son of a .....

[Before Todd can finish his sentence, Bo punches him, Todd goes down to one knee... calmly regains his composure... then in the next nanosecond, he POUNCES on Bo like a wild man..... and it’s ON then! Both Téa and Viki are screaming and yelling for them to stop!]

[The crowd follows Mel and Todd (who has a bloody nose now) inside the Dining Room, as Mel does his best to stay in between Todd and Bo. Sam rushes in and grabs one of Todd’s arms to restrain him, Mel has the other one. Clint is also trying to restrain Bo. Everyone is yelling and talking at the same time!]

Todd: (furious) Just shut up! You think you can....

Bo: (pointing at Todd) I’m gonna shut you up once and for all!

Clint: (holding onto Bo) Not in here, take it outside!

Viki: (rushes in b/w Todd & Bo) Alright, you’re both grownups! Stop this!

Todd: You may own this town, Buchanan, but you don’t own me! (screams at Mel) Take your hands off me!

Sam: Simmer down, Todd! Just cool it, alright?

Bo: (whispers to Clint) If he steps this way, let me go.

Clint: Oh, you got it.

Asa: (standing behind Bo & Clint) Miserable scum!

[As Todd and Bo are still glaring at each other from opposite sides of the room, Todd is still highly upset, squirming around trying to break loose from the hold that Sam and Mel has on him...... in the midst of all of this, comes this “voice” which immediately calms Todd down.... instantly!]

Téa: (standing behind him, taps him on the shoulder) Hi, Todd.

[Todd immediately stops struggling, looks over his shoulder and meets Téa’s eyes, and in the brief seconds that TnT’s eyes connect, we “feel” the emotional “pull” that is ever present between them. In Todd’s eyes, we also see he does not like having Téa see him like this, bloody nose and all.... and in Téa’s eyes we see heartfelt, loving concern for him..... Kevin interrupts this brief, emotional TnT connection.]

[And with that, an extremely upset Jessica rushes out of the room, with Viki following behind her, calling her name. Todd is standing off to himself and Téa walks over to him with a cloth in her hands. She very gently attempts to wipe away the blood from his nose.]

[And TnT stand there, lost in each other’s eyes...... Max and Blair make their way across the room, headed for the door, which catches Todd’s attention..... that lusciously sensual, romantic “original” TnT theme music kicks in as Todd says, softly....]

[Todd looks deeply into Téa’s eyes, we see in his eyes a man torn between what he wants to do (be near her) and what he feels he must do...he drinks her in for a few moments, then quickly walks away..... sighing loudly, Téa stands there looking in his direction, very sad and disappointed, wrapping her arms around herself for comfort.... the TnT theme music is softly playing in the background...]

I wish with all my heart that Todd had, indeed, either stayed with Téa or taken her with him! If he had, maybe future events from that night forward would have turned out vastly different for TnT. It was so obvious to anyone around them that there was a very deep love between these two people. It was written all across their faces, not only when "their eyes finally connected" and locked onto each other that night, but also whenever they spoke about each other to others during the course of the party (Téa to Jessica.... Todd to Sam and Jessica). I loved the way both of their eyes lit up at the mere mention of the other’s name! Téa openly admits that even though she’s no longer “with” him, she misses Todd like crazy! It's just as Viki had shared with Todd earlier that day, Téa "really, really" loved him! And Todd, well he risked a very "ugly scene" with the Buchanans (that he had to have known would occur...if he attended that party!) for a very brief opportunity to just lay “eyes” on Téa.... but it was worth that (and MORE) to him! Although currently separated by circumstances and maybe by their own “stubborness” too, it was clear that both Ts were still the objects of each other’s heart’s desire.... that no matter the obstacles and circumstances, each were the other’s true destiny...... and so Todd and Téa shall ALWAYS be.... then, now, and..... forever!
