Téa Delgado Manning on the ABC Television Network's "One Life to Live", Florencia Lozano joined "One Life to Live" in January, 1997, playing the driven, tough-as-nails defense attorney Téa Delgado. Téa came to town to help with the murder case against Antonio Vega, then set her romantic sights on newspaper reporter Kevin Buchanan. She became the bride of Todd Manning, for a fee of $5million, when both Téa and Todd conspired to dupe the courts in order to win sole custody of Todd's daughter, Starr. Téa and Todd would eventually really fall in love. In 1998, Florencia's stunning performance as Téa Delgado Manning earned her a nomination from Soap Opera Digest as Daytime's Most Outstanding New Actress.
The youngest of three girls (one sister, Julietta, is an assistant district attorney in Queens and the other one, Paula, is a pediatrician in Seattle), Florencia was born in Princeton, New Jersey, and grew up in Newton Centre, Massachusetts. She received her B.A. from Brown University, and moved to New York City to earn her M.F.A. degree at the New York University Acting Program. Florencia's many regional theater credits include "Yerma," "Antigone," "Hamlet," "Widescreen Version of the World" and "Caucasian Chalk Circle." In June 1999, Florencia appeared in one of the leading roles (Joan Gore) in the biting off-Broadway comedy "Lick". In Sepember 2000, Florencia gave a dynamite performance as "Rosaline" in "Love's Labours Lost". Florencia is currently winning "rave reviews" for her role as "Marcia Marie" in a production of "Where's My Money?" Florencia is a trained dancer, whose talents range from ballet to jazz, modern and flamenco. She is single and resides in New York City.
