Return Of The Condor Heroes
There are actually many versions of Return Of The Condor Heroes. But I just love the TCS version alot. You know what, I only started to like Fann and Christopher when I began watching this show. Okay, I shall now give a summary of the story.
Fann is acting as Xiao Long Nu in this show. Xiao Long Nu taken over the Chief's position of the Old Tomb sect after the death of her teacher. Li mo chou was a member too, but she was then sacked after rebelling. Granny Sun was the keeper of the tomb. She takes good care of Xiao Long Nu ever since she was young. xiao long nu developed an icy-cold attitude towards everyone since she was void from the outer world after her parent's death. One Day, granny sun saved yang guo from the priest. (Yang Guo was being tortured then) Granny sun fought with the priests and got seriously hurt. Her last wish was to get Xiao long nu to take care of yang guo. Xiao long nu was reluctant at first, but soon, she gave in.
She
is highly-skilled, and for Yang Guo's early years she was his teacher of the
martial arts. In time, they developed a relationship so deep, it became love
before any of them realised it.
One day she had passed out in the flowerbeds due to internal injuries and was
taken advantage of by a stinking Taoist priest, Yin Zhi Ping ,whom she
mistakes for yang guo ,for she awoke and, well, he was right there. Hurt and
bewildered that he was not willing to accept her as his wife after `taking
advantage' of her she runs away.
Later she analyses the situation and decides that yang guo is not that kind of
irresponsible person and goes to find him. What they shared was a on-and-off
relationship as Xiao Long Nu often become uncertain about their relationship,
and leaves him time and again. This is because she does not know what to make of
the world, having taught nought about the world outside her tomb.
Soon, Yang guo found her in Quan Zhen Temple fighting Yin Zhi Ping and Zhao Zhi Jing. The Mongolians priest, Golden Wheel, injured Xiao Long Nu badly and thank goodness, Yang Guo came to her rescue. Yang Guo defeated the Mongolians and they retreated. Fearing that Xiao Long Nu might die before reaching the old tomb, yang guo married xiao long lu at "chongyang dian". Yang Guo then brought Xiao Long nu back to the old tomb. By then, Yang guo was already poisoned by the love blossoms and is dying soon. Then the trouble maker, guo fu came into the old tomb and poisoned xiao long nu.
Xiao Long nu then jumps off "Duanchang" Cliff, leaving her beloved with an antidote to the love blossom poison and asking him to meet her 16 years later at the same place. Miraculously, she survived and cured her poison by drinking honey and eating fish. Soon, after her recovery, she misses yang guo very much and wanted to get out , but unfortunately, the walls of the cliff was very slippery, so she painstakingly carved words on the bee's wings hoping that yang guo might see it someday. But it did not work.
Yang Guo did many heroic deeds during the 15 years and had been named the Condor Hero by the people of Song. 5 days before the reunion of Xiao Long Nu and yang guo, yang guo went to the "Duan Chang" cliff and waited. This poor guy got his hair white overnight after which Xiao Long Nu failed to show up. He deduced that Xiao Long Nu must have been dead and tada....he jumped down the "Duan Chang" Cliff as Well.*Sobz*...
Yang Guo found a waterway leading to a little island and there he found Xiao Long Nu. Xiao Long Nu was shocked to see Yang Guo. She was very touched and they lived happily ever after.....
