Ashley stretched and yawned. Oh, how she loved relaxing. It was something she had really missed over the last year. But now things had finally settled down. She could finally just.... take time to breath. And she was loving it!

Right now she was lounging in the sun. She had been reading, but soon tired of her book. Now she was just soaking up the rays.

"Ashley!" She heard Jonathon's familiar voice calling her name.

"Over here!" She called sitting up and running her fingers over the soft, green grass she was sitting on.

"There you are!" Jonathon said appearing in her line of vision and running over to her.

Ashley noticed he looked really nervous.

'Uh-oh' she thought 'What's going on?' but didn't voice it "hi!" She said smiling brightly.

"H-hi" he said.

Ashley noticed the small tremble in his voice but chose to ignore it. "What's up?" she asked.

"I wanted to ask you something" Jonathon stated.

Ashley nodded her head a little "Ask away!"

Jonathon opened his mouth, then closed it, then opened it again, then closed it again.

"You look like a gold fish" Ashley remarked quietly.

Jonathon smiled, leaned over and kissed her "Nows not the time, I'll ask you later" He said with a smile and kissed her again.

"Ok" Ashley mumbled.

She was really curious about this important question. But, decided not to worry about it. She loved Jonathon and he loved her. There was nothing in the world to worry about!..

"No! No! No!" Mary-Kate said between giggles "Like this" she proceeded to do a small dance step then turned to Fredrick.

"I don't think I can do that" He said with a worried expression on his face

"It's just dancing! Anyone can do it!" Mary-Kate insisted taking his hand and guiding him through the steps again. "After all," She continued "I need someone to dance with at the ball next week."

Fredrick sighed "I guess I can try a little harder..." He'd just got a mental image of Mary-Kate dancing in the arms of another guy, and needless to say... he didn't like it!

The two spun around the giant ballroom of the castle, as imaginary music played and birds chirped on the other side of the big stained glass windows.

A few miles away another person was making a big decision..

Should he follow his heart or his mind?

His mind told him to leave her be. Mary-Kate was happy, without him. But, his heart told him... he wasn't happy without her.

He made his decision, he'd follow his heart, right to Mary-Kate...

Tom got up from where he'd been sitting and went inside to pack his things. He then started on his journey to the palace Mary-Kate called home.
