"I'm...fine" She pushed herself away from the wall and continued to walk/stagger down the hall.

"Mary-Kate! Please! Talk to me" I called after her.

"I'm FINE!" She yelled over her shoulder before disappearing into her room.

I sighed and walked back over to Samantha

"Call me ignorant, but... I think your friends jealous" She said "I was watching her watch us earlier and..."

I thought about it for awhile "You could be right." I glanced at Mary-Kate's closed door "I'm worried about her, she didn't look well then"

...Ashley...

"What?" I almost dropped the book I'd been holding, I stared at Sean in horror

"She looked really sick. She could barely stand up" he told me.

I turned and ran from the room, headed for Mary-Kate's.

...Mary-Kate...

"Go" I paused to cough "Away" I called to the firm knocking on the door.

"Mk, it's your sister, let me in RIGHT NOW!"

"Just go away" I grumbled.

"NO!"

"Mary-Kate, I'm not going to tell you again! Open this door NOW!" Ashley yelled from right outside my door.

"I told you NO!" I yelled back.

"That's it." She said and I heard the door knob jiggling and after a minute or two, it opened. She had jimmied the lock.

"How did you..." I started, but remembered I didn't want her here. "Ashley GET OUT!"

"Mary-Kate, you look really pale." She said. She came over and put her hand to my forehead.

"Stop that!" I said, swatting her hand away.

"Mary-Kate, you're not well. You need to come to the sickbay with me." She said, concerned.

"I'm not going anywhere!" I shouted "I just want to sleep" I said starting to cry.

"Ok, that's it, you're going" Ashley said "Sean!" She called out the door, when I struggled against her trying to drag me from the room. "Help me here will you"

Sean came in and grabbed Mary-Kate. She tried resisting more so he flung her over his shoulder. She pounded his back with her fists so he would let her go.

"Argh!" Sean yelled as he let her go and clutched his back. His back was still very sensitive from the wound be received a few days ago.

I ran to Sean to see if he was ok.

"I'm fine! I'm fine" He insisted. He turned to Mary-Kate "Go to the sickbay now!" He growled.

She meekly obeyed, having been scared she'd really hurt him.

...Sean...

"Why must I have feelings for such a stubbor..." I started saying when I saw Ashley looking at me with a sly smile. "Nothing..."

I could have wasted my breath trying to convince her that I didn't say anything, but I knew it wasn't any use. But, maybe I kinda wanted someone close to her to know. Man this is confusing.

She just kept smiling as she made her way to the sickbay. I sighed and headed in search of Samantha, I needed someone to talk to.

...Mary-Kate...

I waited impatiently for Ashley to get in here and do her tests. I felt really bad about what I did to Sean, I hope he'll forgive me.

Ashley came in with a small smile on her face, but I only noticed after I said "How'sSeanisheok?"

"He's fine" Ashley said, she giggled slightly.

"You ok?" I asked.

"Fine" She said turning away.

"We'll start with a blood test." Ashley said.

"Nuh-uh!" I said shaking my head. "No needles for this girl!"

"Mary-Kate," She said sternly, "it's the least you can do after what you did to poor Sean."

I shut up "Fine" I rolled up my sleeve and shut my eyes tightly "Farewell cruel world" I said as the needle neared me.

"Stop being dramatic" Ashley said "There! All done"

"What? But I didn't feel anything"

She rolled her eyes "You always panic before a needle and you always say that after a needle..."

"Do not..." I thought for a second. "Ok... so I do."

Ashley then turned to me with a little clear cup with an orange cover and dangled it. Her grin said it all.

My eyes widened and my mouth dropped. "No..."

"JUST kidding!" She laughed. "I only needed the blood test, but I want you to take it easy for a little while."

I sighed "Fine"

"Good" She said, now the serious stuff was over she started to giggle again.

"What?!" I asked frustratedly "Do I have something on my teeth?" I walked over to a mirror and checked.

"No no no." She said, letting another giggle escape.

"Ashley." I said, hands on my hips.

"Mary-Kate." She mimicked me, also putting her hands on her hips.

"Tell me what you're giggling at." I said

"No one. No guy in this place, no guy I happen to know my sister has a massive crush on" She walked to the door "Later Mary-Kate"

"Nu-uh!" I said grabbing the back of her shirt and pulling her back into the room. "Tell me!"

"Well...." She said delying her answer.

"Ashley!" I whined.

"I don't know...." She continued.

I did the puppy eyes on her. It usually worked on Sean, but maybe it would also work on Ash. "Pweez Ash?"

"He just mentioned the phrase feelings for in the same sentence as 'stubborn'" She smiled "You being stubborn"

"That doesn't make any sense!"

"Sure it does." I grinned. "Use your head MK."

I thought hard about her sentence. 'He just mentioned the phrase feelings for in the same sense as "stubborn'. Me being stubborn.'... the phrase feelings for in sense as me stubborn... feelings for me being stubborn... feelings for me... FEELINGS FOR ME!?

I guess Ashley said that little light bulb appear over my head. "So you get what I'm saying?

I nodded and grinned "He likes me!" I screeched, I turn and ran from the room.

"MK! Wait" Ashley called after me, but I ignored her.
