"What are you doing?" He asked as he walked in.

"Changing his bandages." She said.

"Does he have a name?" Jason asked with a laugh.

"I forgot to ask you." Samantha said, a little embarrased.

"My name is Sean." I said.

She nodded "As you probably know, I'm Samantha, and this is Jason" She said pointing to him. She didn't explain who he was.

I nodded in greeting to Jason.

He gave me a peircing look and returned his attention to Samantha.

...Damien...

Morning came and it was time to decide what we were going to do to find Sean. Unfortunately it had rained the night before. Which meant any tracks there had been, were washed away.

"So what's the plan?" I asked Danny.

"Mary-Kate and I will go look around the woods where we last saw him, at the beach." Danny said. "You, Ashley, and Amy will collect supplies and..."

I interrupted him. "I can't just sit here while my best friend is missing and could be hurt!" I said, slamming my fist against the rock face, hurting my hand a little.

"Ow" I whimpered examing the scratches.

"Fine" Danny said "We'll all search"

We all set off to find Sean, starting with the beach. Hopefull there will be some clues we missed, that weren't washed off by the rain. All we had to go on now was the arrow we found sticking out of that tree trunk. It had been thrown, which suggests that they were attacking Sean. That idea didn't really spark hope of finding him unhurt.

We arrived and scoured the scene.

...Sean...

Samantha and Jason were quietly talking in the corner, I only caught the occasional word. 'wife, dangerous, don't trust him' were some of them.

I tried not to evesdrop on their conversation, but I couldn't help it. I decided to try and figure out how to get back to the others without these "people" getting to them.

I was brought of of my daze when Samantha came and sat down beside me.

"What was that about?" I asked Samantha.

She wrinkled her nose and shook her head "Nothing" She said shaking her head.

"Why do women always say it's nothing when it's something?" I asked.

She glared at me.

"Fair enough." I said.

"Maybe cause it's none of your business, or they don't wanna talk about it. Or both!" She said sounding slightly angry. She got up and started to pace around the tent.

"oook" I said slowly.

She paced around and I just watched in silence. I thought she was going to wear a hole in the ground.

"Saman..." I said when she cut me off.

"WHAT!" She said.

"Sheesh" I said putting my hands up "Calm down!"

"I'm sorry." She said. She sat down and put her face in her hands.

"What's gotten you so upset?" I asked, trying to sit up.

"Life" She mumbled.

"Well, life never seemed to bother you until your friend came in." I said.

"He isn't my friend" She insisted.

"Then who is he?"

"My brothers friend" She buried her head in her hands again, and mumbled something.

"What was that?"

"And my fiancee" She whispered.
