Piper is the sweet middle sister with the power of temporal stasis and pyrokenisis. This power is connected to Piper's feelings and was very tough to control initially. Piper first received the power to time freeze, which got stronger eventually to allow her to freeze selectively. Pyrokinesis came in season 3. Piper is the peacemaker of the three sisters, and she is something like the bonding element between Phoebe and Prue, who always seem to be experiencing friction in season 1. She fell for her Whitelighter (a guardian angel for witches of the Light), Leo Wyatt, thus incurring the "unspeakable wrath" of Leo's bosses. They finally got married in season 3. Piper, as the 2nd sister of the original Charmed Ones, will be the most powerful after Prue's death.
