The telling of the Holocaust from the eyes of a modern teenage girl who only grudgingly accepts the Jewish Traditions. She is asked to "open the front door" as part of the Seder Feast, and she finds herself in 1941, stepping into the life of a prisoner in a German Concentration Camp- where she finds out for herself just what happend during the Holocaust. Based on the Novel by Jane Yolen.
