DANNY BIOGRAPHY

Danny grew up in the small town of Rockmart, Georgia. This is how he describes his experience: "In a small town there's nothing to do. It's like school and that's it. And there are just hicks everywhere. And the teachers, so many of them were just so freaking stupid. I mean, they're burnt out. There was no party scene. People would just get in their cars and drive around. That's what people did on weekends. Just drove around. And then there was this one cabin that all the kids would go to get messed up. That was life in a small town. Half the people I grew up with are already married with kids. No life, no careers. I don't want any part of that."
Danny is very close to his mother, but not so much with his father. He was raised with his two brothers, Joshua and Drew. After he graduated from high school, he attended the University of Georgia Athens where he double majored in French and Foreign language education.
Danny is openly gay, and is currently in a serious relationship and living with his boyfriend, Paul, who is in the military. On MTV’s the Real World New Orleans, Danny came out into the open about his homosexuality. Being on the show, he destroyed many gay stereotypes and educated many people on homosexuality in general.
Danny has has been overwhelmed with publicity since the show ended, including starring on the season premiere of the television show DAWSON'S CREEK, modeling for Nautica, and featured in magazines.

"I think he's going to be adored by the world and they're going to ride him on a big chariot wherever he wants to go. He's a good person, and good people will always be ok." -Kelley, from RWNO
