National Theatre hit by more power problems
Performances at the National Theatre have been cancelled for a second night running due to a continuing power problem.
The latest problem has been caused by a freak shutdown of two on-site electricity generators.
The same generators exploded in separate incidents at the weekend, resulting in Monday night's shows being cancelled.
Theatre bosses are still waiting to hear if normal service will be resumed on Wednesday, when controversial playwright Mark Ravenhill's new work, Mother Clap's Molly House, is due to start.

National Theatre shows cancelled after explosion
All productions at the National Theatre have been cancelled following a power failure.
Tonight's performances of The Relapse and Howard Katz have been called off as theatre bosses try to fix the problem with only a skeleton staff at the venue.
Fire crews were called out twice to the building overnight after a transformer exploded, but nobody was hurt.
A spokeswoman said: "This is an unprecedented occurrence and the cause of the problem has not yet been identified. We hope that the National will reopen as soon as possible."
Officials were unable to say how long the theatre would be out of action.
A statement from the theatre explained: "The theatre's transformer blew at 10.30pm on Sunday night causing a small explosion which was attended by the fire brigade and London Electricity Board.
"The building was closed at the time. Staff began work to restore power but at 4.30am this morning a second transformer failed causing a small fire which was again attended by the fire brigade and LEB.
"No-one was hurt but electrical equipment was damaged. Specialists are now assessing the damage to ascertain when power can be restored."
A new work by controversial playwright Mark Ravenhill, Mother Clap's Molly House, was due to start on Wednesday.

28th July 2001 2nd July 2001 BOND OF LOYALTY Eon Productions makes the James Bond movies, so the company has a license to kill rumors that it plans to replace Pierce Brosnan as Agent 007. ''Pierce Brosnan will play James Bond in the forthcoming production and for the foreseeable future,'' said a spokeswoman for producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson. The most recent rumor had it that Scottish actor Gerard Butler (''Dracula 2000,'' USA Network's ''Attila the Hun'') was taking over the role. Butler claims the press misinterpreted a joking comment he made. The remark was: ''I've chatted with Barbara Broccoli, and she knows that I'll only do it if [Tory politician] Ann Widdecombe can be my Bond girl. She's off thinking about that right now.'' But would she be as believable as Denise Richards' nuclear physicist Dr. Christmas Jones?
