Reviews

There are many, many opinions out there of any actor's work, and many actors who place way too much emphasis on such printed 'reviews,' or 'notices...' My own opinion is that these do not represent some judges' score in some national acting competition that will determine success for the remainder of a career, but are merely opinions. That's all they are. I have been fortunate to receive good ones lately. Then again, if you believe the good ones, you've got to believe the bad ones as well........... I'm actually quite proud of my first reviewed show in L.A.: The dreadful "Desire on a Hot Tin Streetcar," presented at the Complex Theatre in Hollywood. The reviewer's thoughts were anything but complex (unlike my curiously written drag role), writing how "amateurish" the performances were, and how the actors in this one were "fortunate enough not to be identified by name in the program." ...................... My reviews have gotten better.
