Na Tum Jano Na Hum

Hrithik delays Sooraj's film

Sooraj Barjatya who took pride in completing his multi-star films in record time of six months, is today running around for dates of Hrithik Roshan to complete his by now two-year old venture Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon. Insiders insist that Hrithik wants papa Roshan' s Koi Mil Gaya to release first and not Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon in a bid to regain his lost glory. Insiders say he is banking more on hid daddy rather than his other releases viz; Vikram Bhatt's Aap Mujhe Aache Lagne Lage with Amisha Patel and Arjun Sablok's Na Tum Jano Na Hum. Is it that the golden boy has lost it's shine and apprehensive of his solo releases or is it just a change in the career strategy? Will such manipulation make Hrithik successful? Well… only time can tell.

Hrithik and Tusshar in a Film
Good friends Jeetendra and Rakesh Roshan have decided to join hands and are to soon launch a film that will star their sons Hrithik and Tusshar in the lead. When questioned by the press, Tusshar reportedly said that things had not yet been confirmed and nothing could be said at the moment. Talking about the junior jumping jack, well, he is excited about his debut release Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai being declared a hit. The worst part of the celebration is that he is not in town. He is shooting with Esha Deol aboard for a film named Kuch Dil Ne Kaha. Great going, Tusshar!

Hrithik's mobile is nicked in London

An impostor with a sob story made off with Hrithik's cell phone while the Bollywood star was dining at a pizza parlour with his friends in London last week. Revealing the incident, Hrithik's father Rakesh Roshan said, "A young boy came up to my son with a letter that supposedly explained his dire circumstances. Being a softie at heart, Hrithik began to read the letter when he suddenly realised both the boy and his own cell phone were missing." Now Hrithik finds himself in London without a phone. He has been in the city for the last two weeks, shooting for the last lap of Karan Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham with Kareena Kapoor. Shah Rukh Khan, who plays his brother and Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan who play his parents, are also in London for a long shooting spell that will conclude only at the end of the month. Hrithik was in London in April too for Subhash Ghai's Yaadein. "I haven't seen my son for the last one-and-a-half-months," Rakesh Roshan said. Back in Mumbai from New York after collecting a handful of awards at the Bollywood Awards function, Rakesh Roshan, who has won every major popular award for his film Kaho Na...Pyar Hai, says, he ran into his son by chance at London airport while returning from New York to Mumbai. "I'm surprised he recognised me," the doting father joked.

HRITHIK TO SEE SPECIALIST ABOUT HIS THUMB
Hrithik is currently seeing a specialist to have the small extension, which curves inwards towards his main thumb, removed by way of an operation. It seems that Hrithik is worried, that his many adoring fans might be irritated on close up shots, and in the long-run his career could suffer directly because of it. Hrithik has a massive following of fans all over the world, many of whom that would not care less about this, but the man himself is scared. Many fans consider this to be his good luck charm, without which he could suffer career wise.

Ash and Hrithik to work together
Aishwarya Rai has given the nod for Ramesh Sippy's film that has Hrithik Roshan as her hero. This is the first time that the duo has been paired together which is a casting coup of sorts considering the huge 'age' controversy between the two! Throw your mind back to the day papa Roshan had given a categorical statement that his son would not act with Ash as she would look elder to him! An incensed Ash had chosen not to sign any films with beta Roshan after that. Also he is shooting for the Coca Cola ad along with the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai. Remember the previous Coke ad shot by Rakesh Roshan on Hrithik and Aditi Gowitrikar in Mauritius? That ad, released last Diwali, was supposed to star Aishwarya Rai, but she dropped out at the last moment, leaving Rakesh Roshan no choice but to replace her with Aditi. If there was any bad blood between the Roshans and Aishwarya over the incident, it seems to have evaporated in the summer heat as the two superstars have finally come together in the new Coke ad.

BILL CLINTON & HRITHIK MEET FOR DINNER

Bill Clinton has been visiting the Gujarat area which was struck with the disastrous earthquake. Yesterday, there was a dinner party at the Taj Mahal Hotel which was attended by top officials and amongst the Bollywood stars only Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and his wife Sussanne were seen. Ooh Duggu dining with the ex-pres. Cool!!

For those of us lucky to watch HRITHIK LIVE IN CONCERT, what a treat it was!!!The evening was fab and Hrithik blew my mind. What a talent he has and such dedication. WELL DONE to the young choreographer, Ganesh Hegde(he did MEHBOOB MERE)as he has done so well. Unfortunately, Sony managed to screw uo the Bumbro song which was the highlight of the evening :( BUT it was definitely worth watching it!!!!!Click on the link above to see the photos.

Na Tum Jano Na Hum is turning out to be one of the best kept secrets in Bollywood? After a BANG of publicity, it now seems to be overshadowed by Duggu's Yaadein and Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum. When asked about the Esha-Duggu starrer, all we hear is "it's progressing well"! Well? Is it going to be released this year at all? That's what we would like to know!

SONY to show Documentary
Millions of adoring fans will get a peek at the rise to stardom of Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan in a TV series to be aired next month that will include clips of him as a child dancer and actor. "Hrithik - The Man Behind The Star", a two-part 90-minute film on the making of the screen idol, will be aired by Sony Entertainment Television on April 16 and April 23. Although Roshan's father was a big actor and director in Bollywood, "he's never had everything on a platter," she said. Home videos showing Hrithik dancing at friends' birthday parties are in the programme. There are also clips of Roshan as a child dancing in father Rakesh Roshan's films "Aap ke Deewane" (Your Admirer) and "Asha" (Hope), and acting in "Bhagwan Dada" (God Man), made by his film-maker grandfather J. Om Prakash. "He had to sweep the floor during shooting schedules and give tea to the unit people," Khan said of Roshan's days while he was learning his craft in film studios. After a screen test of him waking up to an alarm bell ringing, his father cast him in "Kaho Na Pyar Hai" which turned out to be a mega box office hit. "I was just shocked at his decision," Hrithik Roshan said in the programme.

Mission Kashmir DVD...coming out SOON by DEI, don't miss this amazing flick with stunts à la MATRIX! Up next, we are told it will be Yaadein, Yaadein and Yaadein! After seeing Kareena Kapoor at theZee cine Awards, we are dreading (literally) to see the film. No mention of Na Tum Jano...Na Hum anywhere on the web. Looks like it will be released late 2001 or early 2002. Gosh, can we wait until then? Amisha was quite chirpy on stage as you all know. She was supposed to perform as well, but were were not able to get a hold of that act in real format. Currently the KNPH team are racing to completing Vikram Bhatt's Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage.

According to an insider, Bebo darling made a spectacle of herself at a recent public gathering. Of course, Hrithik Roshan being there was incidental. Kareena who was standing far away from Hrithik kept on cooing into her mobile. "Hrithik, stop it. Hrithik, don’t do this..." Loud and clear for the entire world to hear! And what was poor Duggu doing? He was stuck to wifey Suzanne hanging on to each and every word of hers. As for his mobile, it was believe it or faint... switched off!

Hrithik Roshan & Kareena Kapoor were caught swinging in each other's arms in a popular nightclub in Bombay. Shocking, na? Before Sussanne flies off her handle, it was not for real. It was a shot for Karan Johar's forthcoming flick Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham that stars Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik, Kareena & Rani Mukherjee in lead roles. The fast beat number was picturised on Hrithik & Kareena and the shot required them to be seen cozy in each other's arms. Shaking legs with them were about 40 British dancers who were flown specially from London to make the London Nightclub environment look realistic. The movie is scheduled for a Diwali release this year. Can't wait!!!!!!

Duggus New Years Resolutions!!!

Respect for myself and my body and learning to say No! is what I intend to incorporate in my dictionary. I need to put a slash on interviews, stage shows, meetings, so that I can concentrate more on my work. I face a lot of stress as a result I have lost a lot of weight and I'm not the he-man the audience loved in 'KNPH'. I have to shift my focus to my work. I need my share of rest at the end of the day. It is humanly impossible for me to be present everywhere and please everyone.

I HAVE LAID DOWN "MY" RULES - SUNDAY'S ARE FOR MYSELF AND MY FAMILY.

His reel life to real life transformation appears to be quick. After a superb diving sequence in 'KNPH' Hrithik recently played saviour to his director, Subhash Ghai when he fell into the waters after the pack-up of a shoot for 'Yaadein.' Hrithik dived into the waters when Ghai slipped while climbing the small staircase leading up to the boat. And Subhash Ghai can't help but be grateful to his hero! Way to go, Hrithik. He's truly the lifesaver when it comes to drowning directors!

Good news for UK Duggu Fans. Hrithik is going to perform live in Birmingham, London and Manchester on August 25th, 26th and 27th of August 2001!Buy your tickets NOW!!!!!!!!!!

HRITHIK and KAREENA

Yash Raj Films has announced the launch of its next production - a story of Love and Friendship titled Mujhse Dosti Karoge?

The movie stars Hrithik Roshan, Rani Mukherjee & Kareena Kapoor in lead roles. Uday Chopra will make his presence in a special appearance. The movie will be written and directed by Kunal Kohli. Rahul Sharma (Son of Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma) will compose the music and Anand Bakshi will pen the lyrics. The movie will go on the floors in the second quarter of 2001.

Other interesting news is that poor Kareena Kapoor, Hrithik's co-star in the soon to be released movie YAADEIN is jealous of the marriage between Hrithik and Suzanne(like we all are!). The poor girl has a huge crush on her co-star and Duggu is well aware of it. However, there's nothing much she can do as the couple seem very much in love. Ironically, Hrithik has signed 4 films with Kareena. Of course, both Hrithik and Kareena were supposed to make their debut together in the year's biggest hit 'Kaho Na Pyar Hai', but Kareena opted out at the last minute. The move caused so much tension that many thought they would never make a film together again. Luckily Hrithik forgave and forgot, and signed Subhash Ghai's 'Yaadein' opposite Kareena. Then came Karan Johar, who insisted on signing Hrithik and Kareena for his latest movie 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum' and both stars were happy to oblige. Not long ago Sooraj Barjatya, held talks with Hrithik and Kareena and later revealed that they are starring in his movie 'Main Prem Ki Deewani'. The latest is that both newcomers have been signed for YashRaj Films next home production, 'Mujshe Dosti Karoge', which also stars Rani Mukherjee and Uday Chopra. PHEW! What a collection…lets just hope that they click together on screen and the off screen unrequited love of Kareena does not effect their performance.
