CALL FOR MANUSCRIPTS

I'd like to know how you felt about the girl play in your own girlhood. How old were you? Did you play with other girls often? How did the girls you were playing with react? How did the play begin and end? In what ways have your experiences informed your adult sexuality? I look forward to learning about other women's most formative moments and finding out what connects us as well as what defines us as individuals. GIRL PLAY will be a candid account of women's reflections on their personal experiences of sexual discovery.

I am concentrating on developmental sexual play as it occurs among girls in the absence of adults or boys. I will not include any manuscript with a pen name that is ambiguous or misleading regarding gender. There is no maximum or minimum length requirement, and I will consider including previously published work. No simultaneous submissions, please.

At www.customeroticasource.com, I am on staff as a celebrity writer. I've written erotica for Dare, Mind Caviar, Peacockblue, The Oy Of Sex, and books in the Herotica series. More of my fiction is forthcoming in Flasher and Leather, Lace & Lust.

In terms of human health and sexuality books that focus on recollections, as GIRL PLAY will, I contributed personal essays to First Person Sexual, Whores and Other Feminists, and www.diverseworks.org. My most recent personal essays are forthcoming in Binary and Illness in the Academy.

For five years I worked in editorial and reporting positions at several newspapers, including The Austin American-Statesman. I look forward to working closely with contributors.
