The stadium as I remember it from the Eastern High School
parking lot across 33rd St.

A Note from the Webmistress:
Hello! And welcome to my humble little site. Growing up in Baltimore, I
was naturally a very big Orioles fan. Although I never saw the Colts playing
in Charm City, I still have agreat appreciation for their legacy in Baltimore.
Unfortunately, the efforts to save the stadium have been lost. All that
remains of the stadium is the beautiful plaque. Everything else is GONE!
It is still undecided about what to do with the plaque. It would be disrespectful
to destroy a memorial to soldiers in the World Wars. On Dec. 1, 2001, Mayor
Martin O'Malley met with GEDCO, the company that plans to develop the site
in to a YMCA and a senior citizen center. Proposals for the plaque include
erecting it in a specific site between Oriole Park and PSI Net Stadium.
The mission of this website is to remember this building and not to let it fade into history. This website provides the two arguements used to wheter or not the stadium should have been torn down. You can find these on the menu to the left. Happy surfing!
