Eleven year old Emily Horton takes a bite out of a country song like her nickname, Tiger Horton. Having recently completed her first album under the direction of Academy of International Recording Artists, Hall of Famer, Robert Metzgar, Emily is having the kind of success that new acts are craving to get in country music.

The energetic, blue eyed blond, who calls Meridian, Mississippi her birthplace has an unusually deep adult voice for age eleven. That voice has caused her to be compared to the legendary Tammy Wynette. She delivers a country song with the kind of power and conviction of real country acts. Not a cross over wanna be, Emily's greatest desire is to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry and sing traditional country music on the same stage as her idol, Grand Ole Opry superstar, Kitty Wells. She recorded her latest album with veteran country hit-maker Robert Metzgar at Chelsea Studios in Brentwood, Tennessee with some of Nashville's great session musicians. The credits on her latest album read like the Who's Who of country music.
