THE COLUMBIA BASIN PROJECT

THE FOLLOWING ARE PICTURES TAKEN NEAR THE COLUMBIA RIVER IN EASTERN WASHINGTON. CHRISTINE AND I CAMP HERE EVERY SUMMER.

You cannot ask for better background to take pictures, that's for sure!

I've been looking into getting a new sprinkler system for my house....

Funny they don't look that big from the freeway.

I think this next picture requires no commentary.

This next picture was Christine's idea. While we were taking pictures, on more than one occasion, truckers would drive by and honk at us "girls!"

I've mentioned Christine's 1965 Mercedes 230SL. Here it is!

On thing I've never experienced is having long hair whipping in the wind. Makes it kind of hard to drive.

Here is an interesting photo (shadow). London Jean shorts from Victoria's Secret.

These hay bails are only a few miles from the Gorge Amphitheatre. No concerts this weekend, though. There were some friendly migrant workers having a siesta that waved at us each time we drove by. We were afraid, however, that somebody might stop thinking we were having car troubles while we were taking pictures.

And finally, we found this cute little cattle bridge. Christine took pictures of me on that bridge, I had to walk about 30 yards through snake territory to get there. They turned out a little too blurry to post, however.
