Why Life Sucks.

Let's face it. Life sucks. Everyone knows it, just not enough are willing to admit it. We're supposed to believe that life is a blessed thing that we should take advantage of and "ceize the day". Ya gotta "Live life to it's fullest." But how are you supposed to do that, when anything that you might consider fun or risk taking can either get you arrested, killed, or banned from society. Gee...sounds like a hell of a life to me. Go ahead and live it up as long as you don't offend anyone or get anybody's way. It starts from the day you were born and doesn't end until all your days of "living it up" catch up to you. And they ALWAYS catch up to you.

It starts at birth. Your born into the world to be the center of attention to everyone who felt they needed something more in their life. All you can do is lay on your back and cry about life hoping that somebody will understand and help you out. But all they can do is be proud of their so called accomplishment of bringing life into the world while never giving credit to the condom that broke making this new found mistake a possibility.

But it continues on from there cause life is cruel and likes to drag out the misery. You spend the next segment of yourlife like you were serving out a prison sentence. 18 years minimum of living under the rule of someone elses thumb. You can rape and kill your own child in California and you wont spend that much time locked up. Aha...but the irony is oh so bitter sweet. You are stuck. Plain and simple. Your life doesn't begin for another 18 years. In the mean time you are forced to attend school. You are forced to be home when the law and you parents feel it is right. Your not old enough or mature enough to make your own decidions. So you gotta answere to everyone else. Teachers, police, parents, or most any other adult form you can imagine. And despite the amount of excrutiating hell it may be just to continue on with making the best out of a normal daily life, it doesn't matter. No freedom. No sense of remorse. You still have to serve the sentence. Hell, they already put in their time and they made so why can't you? But what they all fail is that every day society comes closer and closer to destroying itself.

Now we move on. Let's say you manage to make it past your first sentecing. You've made it out of the hole and your free. The light is shining brightly and finally you can do anything you want. Right? Wrong mah son. Not only a foolish thought but your dead wrong. You finished serving one term only to be sentenced to a whole new one. Now you gotta get a job. You gotta buy a car. You gotta find a place to live. Plus you have to find a guy or gal to tolerate the rest of your life. And what happens if you don't obey by these rules? Everything is stripped away from you as punishment. From the second after you gain your independence you begin a lesson on how to conform to a whole new set of rules. Eventually you wind up losing at least a few of these essential items and fall rock bottom to a disapointing sole in the system of life. And you'll wind up realizing that there is indeed no life at the end of the tunnel. Merely answeres at the bottom of the bottle.

But eventually, the liquor will lose it's way and you'll be subjected to the light. It's time you go back out and peice together your life despite the fact that it has past it's halfway point. But say ya manage to scrap yourself together and you get a decent job. You get a nice house. Maybe even a car that runs. What happens? Your back to playing by the rules and living under strict societal(I know that's not a word damn it) guidance. You have to work until the day comes that it's decided you truly can't go on anymore. Your no longer needed. There's fresh meat coming in willing to take your place so your discarded on the side of the road like an old wicker chair. Nobody needs you and nobody wants you. So now it's time to go off and collect the money that society feels you can live off of, settle into a dark corner, and wait to die.

Depressing isn't it? But c'mon, that's the truth. Sure there will be different variations along the way for some but in general it's all the same. Now, try to understand that I'm not saying that we as people are doing any intentional wrong doing. There's really not much choice. That's the outline of life, not because we want it that way but because it is that way. And that mah friends is why life sucks.

  Until next time...I'm Dan-O & don't mind me...I'm just rambling.
