YRUU MVUC Pictures Meetings December 16, 2002: Today we had two visitors from the UUA's Washington Office for Advocacy. Grant Smith, who worked to change the Georgia state flag into something that didn't glorify segregation, is currently working on issues with the war on drugs. Robin Hoecker's current work is mainly with Iraq and resisting a war. She is going to visit Iraq in late December 2002-early January 2003. Her other main focus is GLBT (Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals, and Transsexuals).
