                          Tomato-Cucumber Salad

  3        tablespoons  balsamic vinegar
     1/2      teaspoon  Italian seasoning
     1/4      teaspoon  sugar
     1/4      teaspoon  salt
     1/4      teaspoon  black pepper
  2                     tomatoes -- thinly sliced
  1                     cucumber -- peeled and thinly sliced
  4                     green onions -- sliced
In a small jar with a tight-fitting lid or in a small bowl, combine the
vinegar, Italian seasoning, sugar, salt, and pepper; cover and shake well
or whisk until blended.
On a medium platter, arrange the tomatoes and cucumber in a spiral,
alternating the vegetables.  Sprinkle with the scallions and drizzle with
the dressing.
