Alex’s theory

Alex has a theory that Krakken has an overall view of the probabilities of events happening and can nudge events to a path he finds preferable
After talking to both Matthew and the Mayor of Titan we find that this is true in the broad sense

The hunt now is for the mastermind who holds all of the probabilites

House in Titan

We have decided (well Gen has anyway) to buy a house on Kings row in Titan
And a base of operations and as an investment for the future
Costing 15,000 gold it is taking some time to get the money
But Gen did his first days work 900 gold for enchanting at a smithies
The duke has agreed to provide some furniture
And jessie has given some rugs she says will never need cleaning

Murder

We took a contract to investigate the Murder of a Titan stall holder
The only clue was orcs were seen there and he had just retrieved an unknown artefact from Davos

Turns out what he had was a bit of a skinwalker (robots who kill and wear the skins of people)
We at first thought it was a warrior one instead of the infiltrators
But it turned out to be a builder
The skinwalkers are dying (and exploding) and they need the builder to rejevinate the race
Mortality has given them an appreciation of life it seems
And a desire to reporoduce

The order of light was sent to Get the bits of the builder they had found
And they killed the merchant

We killed them and were entrusted with the bits of the builder which we gave to the Primeminister


Magnus’s lesson

Leading on from that we had to go and investigate the order of light and found Magnus very angry. He killed 2 of his acolytes (the ones from beneath Cawdor who released Matt Keogh to kill us) The order has instructions not to harm us

He took us into Imperialles for our lesson of the day
Lesson learned we are all gods and we decide who lives and dies

In doing so he hired an assassin to kill one of his acolytes and Alex stopped him
We then discovered that the assassin was one of us
Names Liam Greyhawke ( yes Tolwyns son) and his sister Lissa
And was only doing this work to support his sister who is dying from the neurone plague
(she is also one of us)
Alex convinced him to come with us
And he and his sister are living now in the Dukes estate
He wants the builder as creators are rare
destroyers are common but the spark if life is very hard to create

Meeting blue lady

Griff set up the meeting with the blue lady who was selling him Tomselek guns
And what a set up that turned out to be

She was a Vanguard (leons home worlds thraxian types)
Who killed her crew then herself with a black legion sword in order to start a war
The frame up was we were there

Priotus covered it up and dent us to investigate the sword
It was Richters sword from the unification war (600 years ago)
But machine restored so Savik (Titans smith who made the sword) told us that it was not repeaired buy and smith on the planet
Also it had been stolen from the museum and replaced with a forgery
(the mayor was not happy about that)

The last people to ask to see the sword were .. Lady Swift and Fabian cortez
Dum dum dahhhh

Set up from start to finish

We proved our innocence in the end and an operation to see what Fabian is up too is about to start but that’s for someone else to do

Gen has a house to buy :)

The unification / kings party
Mood:  a-ok
Talking to the gorgon was a bust but she did say Titan was where the plot is

On the way to Titan we met Rocky the xidus
when he stopped the rogue ranger Lassiter killing everyone on the train
A major incident indeed as lassiter killed the train driver for no reason
very much hoping this does ot start a war

We headed to Titan for the Unification celebrationd
Lanris had a great time and met my family

Shock of the day was the 7th avenging angels showing up
led by their comander Vermithrax Bladefist

Then it was the Kings party
Alex got escorted by the lord general himself

Things were pretty tense then Leon went and asked Raptor to dance
(rapotor wife of fabian cortez)

Boy that went down well but Leon kicked Fabians ass
bit of a surprise to all concerned i think
we will however have fabian problems soon

The king unveiled his new for
it was very impressive
Pheonix wings and glowing eyes very inspirational

then the real fight started
black legion vs imperialles

Imperialles had an edge they had gotten a pheonix chick from asmodai
and imperialles never lose when a pheonix is flying
it was damn close though :)

Jessies friend matthew told us to start our deck of cards with hugo vassilly the mayor of titan as apparently he is a major player and knows muc

So we have started a recon mission

We met NAXO (the bad bad guys from Leons world)

Our blck shard problem turned out to be a substance called black meteor .. a really nasy creature from leons home that depresses those around it then makes them really violent

Davos and Cawdor had cults of people willing to be infected with it

We cleaned bot those cities by using spores general Kast made for us .. his people created the meteor so they can destroy it

we learned a lot more about Leons world and the kinds of power there
seems most of the rangers power has not scaled up

We also rescued Matt Keogh (and my was he greatefull .. NOT )
but we have denied the enemy an asset so its good in a way

Preparations for the Kings 60th birthday
(very significant for an elf)

Shard Experts
Mood:  a-ok
It seems we have been designated shard experts by the Queen

She came and asked us to assasinate some Lotharian movement members but that seemed to have been a test to see what kind of people we were

then antoher test to see if we could deal with the shards

She thinks that the proximity to the nasty shards is causing the people of imperialles to behave in a more cruel and imoral way

She is sending us to Davos to start there
as it has always been bad but lately has become a wretched hole

The queen and the Admiral Hawke can to an agreement
Remarkable alike in may ways to look at them

Lanris has settled right in
seems in her spare time Jessie comes and reads to her
she likes that and is learning all sorts of new things
With her new clothes and brushed hair she is even more stunning

We tracked Lanris down and persuaded her to come with us
she is beautifull :)

and powerfull once we get her used to what she is
and thats for us to do now and Magnus has started deciding what can and can not happen, we can not take her to marcus, the comonwealth can not interfere and the chitters can not spy on us

we have no choice but to play it out

We started with heavens 7 (who managed to kill ms Halloran)
We got Steven cash to tell us where the Roman was
they are mixed up with the cult of Krakken
depressingly stupid cultists we met
We managed to put the roman down and he would go back to Earth
where they could try to help the mind control

first a charming vampire called Steven Cash

and a squad of Rangers who seemd a little more reasonable
so we made a deal

we were raiding the merchants guild for info on cash's links to them
the rangers agreed to help and we said we would take them to Priotus to talk

alex got more than she bargained for
she rescued a criminal from earth who had been working for heavens 7 and had outlived his usefullness (a fatal condition)

Sho was there to do the execution and mare and pain showed up soon after
we got the guy and got the hell out

He told us that someone named Cockroach Martinez was working with Slaah the pirate king and had rescued out boat of slaves from the northern sea (the one where all the mutated creatures had happened) and he dropped them off in kyoto

one of them was named Lannris but thats too easy

The meeting between Pritous and the Rangers went well
and they said they were sending civillians called the pact
These pact have fought Raphialle before
and were responsible for the decimation of the old heavens 7
and have a particular grude against Steven Cash

we are about to make a move to meet the lanrris and decide what to do with her

More visitors and trouble
More aliens are showing up day by day
It seems that someone has started a rumour that wiping the planet out is the way to stop the universe ending

we have calmed the chitters and the earth people down
and are having to work on the rest

Leon has blamed Fabian Cortez so it seems he is the power

A quick trip to Blastrock went very badly
We went to see ms Doomfists daughter to see if she knew anything about the mage involved in the dukes kidnap

we were thrown out of the tower very rudely
Then we snuck back in

Unfortunatly Gen opened a door that should not have been opened really but there was someone on the other side begging for help

This is where reality is starting to fray
The ghosts on the other side of that door are from a reality where Mordane read the book in blastrock and started the red crusade with the mages

And they are pissed off

To get the time strands back together we had to contact the spiders who try to keep that toghether and after being overuled once the 5 of us had the authority to ask them to help

The undead mages have formed a Wizards consortium and are laying seige to blastrock
Blastrock has told imperialles to stay out of it
the wizards have opened up diplomatic releations and are negotiating with the lord general
If the spiders manage to sort out the timeline glitch
we may have some valuable allies

Reality is starting to fray becasue no one knows how to keep it together, a device called the Lanris was used to spin the universe and it is now in the hands of an amature who is using it to make monstrous creatures

We also have to find this lanris and give it to Marcus
A time being who has worked out how to use it properly

We rescued the Duke
Mood:  a-ok
Well with a lot of help from Gunner
He was fighting 3 serpent guard and left the 2 normal Thraxians guarding the duke .. Alex fought them and I got the duke out of there

Gunner apparently has a past he prefers not to talk about
and that is fine with me and Alex

they are both ok .. the lotharians were trying to make the Duke send false orders to put Titan and Davos at war as we thought
He also said he was sure a Mage was involved
so the guild has either a rougue mage or is helping the Thraxians

The corpses of the Seprent guard revealed that the current Thraxians can not make them like they used too and are improvising with technology
The things are becoming more powerfull by the second and their bodies reach a point where they can not handle the power and die

Disposable weapons

We also learned the Genome project is in effect just not as good as it was thank god

In rescuing the Duke we used a shard in an explosive device and something odd happened .. it seemed to have an affinity with what we were trying to do with it It knew what we wanted it to do

More people from Leons planet are due to arrive
and we learned a little about leons past
apparently he was really not a nice person
I am unsure if i want to know anymore

we got mr Painter out of prison and asked him to use his knowledge of soul science and mind control to help Matt Keogh (who is not the high preist he just thinks he is)
Unfortunatly that requires him to be imobalised and a cosmic entity is interested in no one interfering so that will be quite hard

We asked Jessie to infiltrate the lotharian movement and investigate their links to the Thraxians ..she seemed to think she could do that

On the plus side out millitary is doing better than expected against the thraxians
and the training camp on the island was blessed by a visit from a huge pheonix ( a very good omen to imperillians)

We infiltrated the lotharian movement in Davos

They are trying to provoke Titan into attacking Davos knowing the Imperillan millatary would have to step in thus weakening the Black legions protection of Titan

and met the Lady head of the movement from Falkin

We found out they were setting a trap for Gunner as it looks like he took a package that was important to the lotharians

The duke we beleive is somewhere in Titan

When we arived to mess up the trap we found a serpentguard

clones of Vermithrax .. the Thraxian elite
It was a one sided battle and Alex got seriously hurt
(seems when she is that damaged the wounds won't heal till the sword is fixed)

Then Gunner showed up and finished it off telling us to stay out of it

We went back to Titan and found one of the Dukes men being held by mercenaries

And now the Thraxian war begins

The thraxian war kicked off in earnest
with Imperialles woefully undermanned
with young inexperienced troops
It does not bode well

On a trip back home we discovered thet our foster father the duke leo had disappeared on a trip to Davos

When we went to investigate they denied he reached the city
we found that was untrue and set off to investigate

Also Gunner the smith from the estate seems to have gone looking too
And left a trail of bodies in his wake
He is more than he seems
